Im currently pregnant (12 weeks 2 days) and my nausea and vomiting have been severe. Water even makes me throw up. Not sure if its twins though and yes this is my first pregnancy. I go for my ultrasound in a couple of days
I recieved one as a gift and i BARELY used it. 2 rockers that also lay flat (ingenuity boutique) ended up getting daily usage . I didn't like that you couldn't adjust the incline. It's heavy, bulky, and the inserts attract lint and fluff like crazy.
I just recently found out i am pregnant. I thought something was wrong cause i have been so sick no my stomach and randomly vomiting. Nothing in the morning always in the afternoon and evening. They believe I am 6-8 weeks but my Hcg level is 203,644. 😮 my TSH is low too. I have no energy either! My husband was a twin and my dad is a twin. I am turning 35 this year. And my BMI is way over 30. I was also doing keto when I got pregnant. my first ultrasound is on 7/11. This pregnancy is completely different than my first! No symptoms with my first pregnancy.
I wish you could interview Lily Nichols! (Author of Real Food for Gestational Diabetes, Real food for Pregnancy, and now Real food for fertility) I listen to all her interviews and have been trying to find any info on twin pregnancy nutrition within these interviews and nobody ever asks about twins! Check her out 🙏
This is late, but I'm sure others still come here. This is my sixth pregnancy, fifth baby (I lost one at 11 weeks in 2016). I'm only about six weeks along. This one is WAY different thus far. My fatigue is out of this world; I've cried all day, every day. Everything is gross. All food smells like feet. I'm gaining weight way too fast. My heartburn is already out of this world, and I urinate way more than I feel I should. I have an ultrasound in two weeks. I'm hoping it's NOT twins. It's hard to keep my babies in me as it is. Two out of four were premature. I'm 35, and it took me two years to conceive this little chickpea. Guess we'll find out.
I have been wanting twins but haven't had any. This is my 7th pregnancy and I'm due days before I turn 40. I'm kinda getting suspicious of this pregnancy. The nausea and food adversion has hit me earlier and stronger than with my previous pregnancies. I got a dye stealer test. All the tests I have taken over the years, I have never had I dye stealer. My first appointment is next week.
As a new twin mom that has a bodybuilding background and has always been into fitness I has all of these feelings too. Now 2 months postpartum and I’m determined to get ME back! Thanks for being you! 💕
Now Iam 16 week now . On 11 weeks I have taken blood test for Down syndrome and genetic test it’s say twins . On the 11 weeks I have a taken ultrasound in that day they said I have one boy baby. Is it possible I can get twins
5 weeks pregnant and HCG was 28,000. Could this possibly be twins? I had an early ultrasound at a pregnancy center in they said that there was possibly two sacks but they couldn't be sure.😊
FYI - really apparent tongue and lip ties at birth aren't that common. But what can happen is that as baby gets bigger in those first few weeks, the lip or tongue tether can grow too. And become thicker and more obvious. Hospital providers do not want to cut a tie unnecessarily. So it's really just up to the parent to be proactive, unfortunately. Unless they have a really good pediatrician who views ties as a priority. But they also depend on the parent speaking up and reporting symptoms. Peds PA - currently 30 weeks with didi girls. Love these videos ❤
I'm 13wks 2 days with MCDA Twinnies!! 😍 4th & last pregnancy for hubby & myself. What a wonderful surprise ❤️ Thankyou so much for the weeks to weeks, it's a massive relief to know you're not alone ☺️ I'm from rural Australia, where our nearest hospital is 4 hours away. So ANY support online goes a long way.

Just found out I’m pregnant with twins and I’ve been freaking OUT!!!! I already have 2 older boys! I found out on my 9th week! We thought we would be done at 3! Twins do not run on either aside of the family!!!! It’s a blessing but I’m so nervous slightly scared!!!! I pray to Hod for a great and safe pregnancy and delivery❤❤❤
Singleton parents all have their own hard. Just like twin parents. However twin parents do have a very specific hard that is not understood by Singleton parents. Our goal with this podcast was to help twin moms and dad's who are struggling, feel seen and validate their feelings, as twins parents often get unsolicited advice from people who don't understand their position.
I didn’t have twins but I hear you. I can’t imagine the challenge of trying to feed two babies at one time. I’m sure you’re grateful for your families. It’s very sad when the family is no more. It happens.
Thank you for this pod cast! Nobody has any idea what it's like to be pregnant with twins. I'm currently 31 weeks. We went to a birth class and it was full of singleton mums. Who looked flawless with their nice round baby bumps. Looking beautiful with their expensive pregnancy outfits and wearing make up. And here I was huge, suffering from gestational diabetes and struggling with pelvic girdle pain. Wearing basically a curtain. And let alone our mothers have no idea about how tough it's really been for me. (This is my first and last pregnancy). Singleton mums make out everything is so easy and wonderful. They don't know shit. But we belive we are so blessed because they don't have special babies like we have. The ability to concieve two babies at once is so special and doesn't happen just for everyone. We will be taking your advice to join a twin mums group.
I needed this! 10 weeks postpartum with mono/di twins. I have 3 singletons as well-all young-and twins is nothing like my last pregnancies and newborn stages. Life is chaos. I wish I had found you during pregnancy and early breastfeeding!
This was suchhhh a validating episode! The twin mom guilt is a real thing and just hearing that it’s okay that we are having a different experience than singleton parenting is healing in a way!
Thank you for this episode!! My twins are 18 months and my husband works 12 hour shifts, one week on and one week off. When he's working, it's just me and the twins. Somehow all three of us survive each day when he's working! And sometimes we even go to the park or the grocery story! It does get easier as they get older! Also, can we talk about how difficult in-laws can be when they've only had singletons? When you were talking about turning down invitations to weddings and movie outings it hit home. My in-laws live 3.5 hours away and don't understand why we can't visit more frequently. My father-in-law constantly advised us to drive around with our kids for 20 minutes a day to get them used to the car. News flash: it's not the 20 minute drive that's the problem! He often told us, "You're not the first people to have a baby. You just have to take them out and do things." Meanwhile he can't even handle watching one of his grandchildren at a time, let alone both! Edited to add: I should have kept watching! You started talking about in-laws RIGHT after I stoped to post this comment! ❤
Great video! Do you recommend the bottle washer with the handsfree type of pump parts? Especially the container it’s was hard for me to manually wash and dry
Under the description of the Bottle washer pro it says this: Large capacity: Holds up to 4 bottles, pump parts & accessories; fit virtually all bottles and most pump parts and sippy cups (excludes Nanobebe Breastmilk Bottles and wearable pump parts and straw cups)
