Steinberg Download Assistant could show if you have access/compatibility to product, is it available for free or at least link to websites like at Waves Control and others. I wonder why these are so useless apps...also those others. UAD is at least showing "license pending"...waiting them to get Luna finnished...
I just need to make a Quick Control mean something in the abstract. I am controlling some things which have nothing to Learn and they're in VE Pro which may not fully function like a direct plugin instrument anyway. I have been at this for over 8 hours and I have literally no clue how to make the controller I just bought do a single thing in Cubase. Both vendors are to blame for being stuck in 1990.
Has anyone had success with unmixing multiple voices from song duets? None of the multiple duets I've tried to unmix has worked in spectral 11. Also unable to remove backing vocals on a mono track. Perhaps the technology isn't there yet.
yall have made the installation process long, overly complicated and counter-intuitive. you were gracious enough to give me a free vst in xstream, but i will never buy one of your products simply because of how much of a process this is. 3 different software applications to install one plugin is ridiculous.
Why do you make things so difficult to install and use? I've had Halion for years and never use it cause I've only ever gotten colors to work. That's it.
Can we just have both USB based licensing and online licensing options? Experience from real scenario while using Pro Tools iLok cloud (I use both Nuendo and ProTools. Don't hate me on this one. :) We are so much used to having internet access that we forget there are conditions and circumstances where one cannot have internet at all. I was editing sound for a film (in Pro Tools) in Kathmandu where we had internet. Then I took a field recording job to go to the mountains. While there, we had no internet access. While trying to run the DAW, it did license check and I had the worst possible nightmare of not being able to work at all. Having internet once doesn't work either because each time I opened PT, it always checked for license. Back in Kathmandu, I did a test. PT opened with internet access. Then I turned off wifi. Soon enough, PT checked for license while the project was already open and had been working. This is where I missed and understood the importance of having a physical iLok key. The reason why I share this experience, while Nuendo/Cubase may function differently regarding license check, is because while cloud licensing seems easy for everyone, there are DAW users facing serious issued when internet access is not possible. I wish Steinberg makes its own USB keys if they are divorcing from USB e-licensor. It used to be so easy to just plug out the USB key and plug in to whatever computer the software is installed. And it WORKED!!! Just like magic!!!
I have to confess that I don't understand what is that software doing? The guy is talking so much with so many superlatives... what is it doing exactly ?
Rip x daw for stems, uad c suite c vox, and iztotope rx for repair. They have always been better but im intrigued to compare them to this new version 👊

Make sure to save any unfinished work before using! It WILL crash your system (sometimes it will warn you there is not enough CPU to do a live preview, other times it just locks up). Fantastic product, but leave time for starting over and over.
È assurdo, ho una traccia con piano e sax e quando faccio unmix parte del piano finisce nella traccia del sax. In più nonostante uso la gbp della nVidia 4090, per fare unmix ci mette più di 10 minuti, assurdo. Oltre al fatto che su cubase 13 pro è inutilizzabile.
I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, Umix Transcription module always translates transcription of voices that are not english to English, you can't get it to transcribe into original language.
I know what the new features are. I can read a list. But before I buy the new software, I'd like to know how they'll actually work with the materials I'll be working with. That's why I think a demo version is essential.
Can I use the De-Bleed to remove voice Bleed. Often we have interview settings, with wireless mics, but they tend to pick not only the speaker who has the mic, but also the other table guest?
Great improvements, though instead wasting time to explain all the new layout features you should have showed more and longer examples of the results, or make two separate videos, one with design features the other technical. However, I like it as ARA where RX 11 still does not cover all DAW (what a shame), though both have their place.
Looking forward to a patch to utilize the GPU. The GPU setting does nothing (4090) it tends to freeze on unmix… this is my 4th pro version of this program. They’ll get it patched. Excellent tools team, fantastic coding 👍👍
Pretty unstable release for me. 13900k CPU, 4090 GPU. 10 worked fine. 11 crashes on un-mix. I’m sure there are a few bugs that need to be worked out… I’ve had the pro versions since version 8. GPU preference in the new program’s settings does not engage the GPU. That was a key selling point - hope that gets worked out in the next update.
It’s supposed to use the GPU... Set GPU in the program’s preferences menu, also in windows under graphics, in Nvidia settings on the computer. 4090 GPU, 13900K cpu. Freezes up on un-mix. Maxes out 32 logical cores, doesn’t use GPU more than a few percent……
That batch processing could use 2 input modes, what you got and select folder path, will be great fun dropping 1000s of files in there... But looks like a contender to replace isotope RX advanced.
