Why don't you guys, man-up, take the rod out of the gunnel, strap it on, and fight the fish, man on man. Very similar to canned-lion hunting, your kind of fishing

The grnter vertical with tail flapping and body movement is called tailing by some , Blowing for prawns by others . Some use 4 to 4.5 pound mono , For a competition fight . But 8 pound mono is a fight for sure . 12 pound or 15 pound is almost no fight . The rods are optional .
