Lousy management ruined the company. Leave it up to the accountants to do that. Maximizing profits at the expense of good, quality service is how it's done! Crappy coffee now that they switched to another brand, crappy doughnuts that don't taste anything like they used to before, terrible service (wait forever to get served, unless you are driving through), not enough employees, you name it. Classic way to ruin what was once a good place. Yes, the accountants, who are the managers at the headquarters, are solely to blame for that. Even the managers at individual restaurants are terrible. They don't train their employees, and let them chat while customers are waaiting.
Very telling story. Didn’t mention how you don’t often see any local kids or seniors working at the stores anymore. It’s like management isn’t hiring anything other than new Canadians to the exclusion of old stock Canadians. Service, product and reputation has slid. No longer go there.
I'm boycotting them. Mcdonalds has the better coffee anyhow. Plus their employees actually speak English. I'm sorry if im offending some but it does become an obstacle when ordering in a timely fashion
I use to love the Coffee at tim hortons - I was buying 4 or 5 cups a day - they changed the coffee and lost me as a customer - I now spend that money at Mcdonalds for coffee there - they have the best coffee around - sorry tim hortons - change the coffee back
Churches Chicken went to a Cashless Model - They Lost My Business - Popeye Chicken Got My Business and so far has made 8,000.00 Cash from my Friends and me this year, Math Short Rounded Off - 20.00 per meal times 3 meals each week times 3 people equals 180.00 a week times 52 week is over 9,000.00 cash - How many other People prefer spending Cash that Businesses will lose out on if they Go Cashless - Budgeting Card Fees at time of Purchase is 3.5% - I save money spending cash, I use a card only when I absolutely have too not Unnecessarily. IE getting Cash from an ATM - When Power went out for 3 days - I was glad I had Cash, Many Did Not and Suffered. - Cash Is King.

Heard that the franchise asks for $25k from the parents of the worker so they can get their Canadian citizenship then the Justin Trudeau Gov't pays the franchise up to 70% of the workers wages. Once Pradeep gets his citizenship he requests that his parents, brother and grandparents immigrate to Canada.
The hiring practices of Tim Hortons needs to looked at very closely for their discriminatory practices--the needs of Canadians not being served, best Hotons and companies like it be sued out of existence.
Boycott Tim Hortons. They only hire Indians cuz the goverment pays for them. Awful and all there products are garbage anyway! Not like how it was back in the day
I go to Timmy's daily if not twice daily and honestly the filipino ladies are fantastic. Never screw up my order. While the East Indian's can't understand anything, constantly screw up and rarely put what you ask for in my coffee.
I remember Tim Hortons back in the day. Walk in, and you got a blast of coffee brewing, and fresh donuts being made. If you weren't hungry before you walked in, you were when you crossed the threshold. Long low counter with stools like an old time lunch counter. People drinking coffee out of real porcelain cups, smoking cigarettes, talking, or reading newspapers. Now there is no aroma of coffee, or donuts. Its not a pleasant place to be in anymore. They did coffee and donuts really well. Probably the best. Then they expanded to offering everything from timbits to pizza. Now they don't do ANYTHING well. Their coffee is tastes like boiled socks. They always shortchanged on portions (order a medium coffee, and they barely filled the cup two thirds of the way). Their donuts are all stale, and their other food items suck. Tim Hortons was like old school Canada. Now its nothing more than a woke, post national, third rate fast food stand. I haven't been to one in a couple of years now, but from what I am told, everyone who goes gets ripped off, or sick from the food, and you have more chance of seeing Tim Horton himself there than anyone who was born in this hemisphere.
Quality has gone down hill and donuts are not as good as when they made them in store. Coffee is not good at all anymore and yes the scandal of the app harvesting illegal data.
To achieve compliancy, every store, restaurant, etc, should display a sign that they could not find Canadians to do work. That would ensure compliancy, as any Canadian, who applied, could read it and scrutinize, why they did not get a job instead of indians.
TH inn Scarborough is soo dirty and when I asked international student to clean my table, she gave me cloth and asked me to do it myself. I wrote horrible review after that. And they were just talking to their friends, while no customers were allowed in 4 hours before closing. Just window was working.
