Attempted this climb a few days ago but had to turn back even before the Via ferrata sections due to ice. Careful the route & Gleckstienhutte are currently shut. This route does not go past the normal sign that would tell you this.
Note: -many people died there before, you will find plenty of crucifixes along the way -the hike as a hole is not an official hiking route anymore (only parts of it) and therefore not maintained by anyone. The government strongly recommends not doing this hike -bring at least 5 liter of water -if there was rain two days before, don't attempt -you better be in amazing shape
Awesome, I get dizzy on the last one just by watching 😅If you ever go back to Zermatt, you should make your way up to the "Hörnlihütte" at the foot of the Matterhorn. If you did the Hardergrat, this would be one for you as well, I think.
@@WanderwithXander not sure if you can still do it in October and also check first how "possible" it is to go to Zermatt this year since it was hit with extreme rain and floods this summer. Wish you save hikes wherever you go 🤗
moment still goes away for you when you die also. wth am i listening about, just live a happy life, get the best beautiful wife, have a family, be lazy, be contented, live longer make your experience longer because all goes away for you whatever you do when you pass on. this the entire moment you can have instead of chasing for billions for 50years and too old enough to get a fake wife & family prolonging your life miserable drinking expensive booze
Wow, thanks for the answer! I'll check your videos for sure. I'm going to Interlaken in September, and I'm interested in hikes like this one, in the mountains, and maybe others crossing cities or passing through lakes. Do you have any tips?
@MatheusDinizsr i have a "top 5 hikes in Switserland" video i can recommend watching. Also check out a Via Alpina segment Meiringen-Mürren (newest video) and the Eiger North Face Ultra Trail. Good luck!
Gorgeous nature's place, stunning landscape views,I really love your outdoor videos. You are a huge source of inspiration to me! Thank you for making this film,Cheers 🍻 from Japan👍👍
Thanks for your tips. I am going in September and would like to arrive in Pico Ruivo just before sunrise, about 7:30 am. I know there is a shorter route from Achada do Teixeira. About an hour and a half to reach the summit of Pico Ruivo. If I start from Pico do Arieiro considering the 3 1/2 hours or so to get to the top I would have to leave at 4 am. Also there is the issue of darkness. What do you recommend to do? Also could you give me the location of the parking lot at Pico do Arieiro? Thank you in advance.
Wow! 😀😉Very nice location in the Swiss alps, I like this area too much, thank you for your views by this hike. Congratulations to your performance and condition! 👍 Like 42 and a new abo! Greetings from Germany!
