In 2020, I finally completed my mission to cook every recipe in one of the most popular, comprehensive vegan cookbooks--the Veganomicon. Who says that year was all trash?? Join me (an amateur chef), and cook along in The Vegan Test Kitchen!
watched 7 recipes and non adds Cilantro, all my restaurants I've been in had cilantro in the salsa, no matter how it was made! Next time you eat the restaurant salsa ask your selves what is the green specs in the salsa. ADD cilantro fresh chopped at the end!!
What's wrong with using olive oil? What's up with this whole emphasis on "no oil"? They consume a shit ton of olive oil in the Mediterranean. Olive oil is very healthy for you.
Hello from Georgia. I've had that book for at least 20 years. I used to watch Isa Chandra and Terri on their utube "the ppk" - I think you can still watch it. Isa Chandra is such a unique person who does her own thing her way. Haven't touched that book for years, but I'm going to look up these recipes and make them. 1st time watcher; I like your style - take care. I'll be back. p.s. Have you checked out her "Appetite for Reduction" cookbook; some delish stuff in there.
Great overview on the Ninja Foodie Air Fryer! Any ideas on cleaning the inside of the oven and accessories? I used mine four times, and it’s ready to be cleaned.
I did everything the same except I just baked everything precooked and substituted the tofu for vegan cream cheese and it turned put pretty good still! I baked it on 375 for 60 minutes
This looks good. Never thought to add dried tomatoes. I’ve been adding canned coconut milk to my vegan tomato soup. It mellows out the acidity and brings a lovely flavor.
VERY good... Ninja makes a GREAT products, i have most of them, this Ninja oven is really well done & good, bought one on sale from, Costco for $140, u cant f*n beat that.. but in Costco have that taller size model , this is to flat
I just store the original container it comes in inside another airtight container such as Tupperware or even a glass jar, No smell seeps out...Simple! Those plastic bags are useless at keeping out/in smells.
I made a slightly different version of this tonight but if not for this video, I wouldn’t have thought to put this together for tonight’s dinner… and oh how delicious and healthy it was. Can’t believe I got my boyfriend to eat two bowls. He loved it!! Used Zucchini penne pasta with organic tomato & basil crushed tomatoes added, tomato paste, veg. broth, with leafy greens, broccoli, carrots, onions, garlic, celery… outstanding. Didn’t take long to cook either. Thank you!!
I just came across you channel and definitely subscribing. This is brilliant. I’ve been vegan all my life as was my mother and it’s amazing to see young people living the Vegan life. Thank you !
Omg 😮 they look so realistic, imma have to try this, you're a oretty darn good genius in my opinion these are the best looking vegan eggs ive ever seen !
These videos help so much. Especially seeing the final product. Sometimes I don't know if what I made is supposed to look like what it did. It also helps to see the process because sometimes I'm just not sure exactly what I'm supposed to do.
The rice was good man. I used kale cuz it's just what I had but imma try that swiss chard with it next. I forgot the chick peas so i toasted some and added at the end. Won't do that again 😂😂😂😂 delicious recipe. The dill was dillicious. 🤭
Looks delicious! I will definitely try this recipe. If you would like to be a hero to some of your viewers, tell them if they have gut issues, they need to do more than just soak the lima beans. Because of anti nutrients that are on and in the beans, the beans need to be rinsed, washed, rinsed and soaked at least 12 hours. After soaking, they should be washed and rinsed again before cooking. If they don’t, the anti nutrients can exacerbate existing gut issues. These anti nutrients can bind to the gut wall and prevent the absorption of minerals, like iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus etc… I have had a lifetime of trouble and recently found out that my condition may be due to these anti nutrients. Beans, peas, lentils, grains, nuts and seeds all have these anti nutrients. If you are a vegan and dependent on those foods for your protein source, you may need to do more preparation, especially if you have gut issues. New subscriber!
