This is an excellent tutorial. I tend to make my covers at the end and use paper because I lack fabric and I prefer to make the cover to fit the journal. That’s probably what I will do. I also printed everything on 32lb paper because your artwork is gorgeous and only the good paper shows it off. I did print a backing pattern on a dozen sheets of 80lb cardstock so I will glue the ephemera to the backing where needed. It’s extra work but it looks really polished. This is going to be fun! ❤

I have signed up many times but I’m not yet getting freebie emails on Mondays. I did confirm my subscription via email. I got to download the woodland kit too but I can’t access any of the older freebies like the peacock images that I desperately want lol. In the locket you could also put a lock of hair. Maybe the brides sweetie went off somewhere and never came some. Definitely could have fun building a story.

I have to tell you something negative - this is not a criticism at all - just info - the volume on this video makes it really hard to hear you. Might be because you're not feeling well, might be because my computer is a brat. Whatever the cause I thought you might wanna know so you can watch out for issues.
I probably filmed this video too late in the night! I do find my best recording time is after my kids and dogs are asleep! I have endless allergies to everything, but I will still take those chicken soup vibes! I'll check the volume on this--it seemed okay when I was editing, but I had headphones on, which I find does make a difference!

These are just jpg files, not SVG. I personally use a Brother Scan n Cut to do a lot of my cutting, though I know many people cut by hand. I cut most of my straight edges with a paper trimmer. I believe there are some tutorials online regarding using the print-to-cut feature on the Cricut, but I have not had much success with it!
This is great! Thank you for the tutorial. I am working on assembling now. I too tend to jump around in projects. I also jump between projects. If I get stuck creatively I like to be able to switch and work on something else, and then come back to the previous project after a day or two.
