I love that the base on this is fairly neutral and can go with several other kits. You can add ephemera from different kits to it to blend it in well.

All the pieces are lovely! Simple, yet ornate. Thanks for sharing! I do have one question - I'm trying to figure out how you're removing the backing from the tape strips ... it looks like you slide the tweezer underneath, yes? I can't believe it comes off that easily. If that tape is strong, can you tell me the brand you use? Thank you!

This is what I am using in the video:amzn.to/3LKSXbL. However, I just checked, and the price is quite ridiculous, so I would get this one instead: amzn.to/3YmdyLb (In fact, I am going to order this right now and try it out!) The backing does come off easily if you put a sharp point under the edge of the backing--my favorite is to use tweezers but a sharp pokey tool should work as well. I usually run a bone folder or the opposite end of the tweezers over the tape before removing the backing to make sure it sticks, but this stuff is so sticky! Once it is on there, it's on there for good! I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@inkandpagejournals Hi and thank you for taking time to offer such a detailed reply! Yes, the second link is much cheaper, isn't it? I do like the tape in your video because it is so clear. I have a tape roll that sticks very well but it's labeled as "transparent" not "clear" and with the project I'm doing I need the tape to be as clear as possible. That's a good idea to use a bone folder, and you're right, it's best to make sure the tape is fully adhered before removing the backing. I thought it looks like you run the sharp tweezers along the edge and it seems to lift right off. Some backing is harder to lift off than others. Your reply was very helpful, thank you!
