I live here in Washington for 9yrs and I only now went and it was supper fun I guess sitting on the 3row you get the most highest experience & really makes you feel like you in it & too bad it wasn’t long enough to ride…
I hope this video find its way into the RU-vid algorithm because it deserves the attention. I came across this documentary from a random Instagram reel of sliding. I thought it was another silly trend, but luckily I came across a comment that recommended this.
That is not 3 piece forged wheel bro..That is using CNC Milling to make those all spokes..The wheels which using forged pressing technology by hidraulic machine while heated to make the wheel spoke only can we called forged wheel..This is 3 piece wheel using CNC Milling to make the spoke wheel..If you called it forged 3 piece wheel because it using it uses heating to expand the center of the wheel you are wrong..All 3 technology wheel like cast/flow form, forged,& monoblock will using the same heated method to expand the centre diameter of the wheel..
Correct. The blank was made with a hydraulic press that compresses the blank which the wheel Is then machine from. Therefore, making it a forged wheel. It is out all forged wheels are made.
This made me emotional ngl because I got into scare acting for real last haunt season and I am hooked. It started with going to haunts and being scared. I am obsessed
This is really underrated, one of the coolest things we have here in Seattle! I’ve gone once, and I plan on going again! Helps you appreciate our state of Washington.
Sliders and unique chainsaw actors (the GOOD ones) easily have the most physically exhausting, demanding and brutal jobs within the business. As someone who works at the biggest haunt in New England in a multi-role, and act 2 nights a week for only 2-4 hours in a custom role that is a mix of a chainsaw/marionette/semi-stunt actor... I believe that if you’re not innovating, flushing fear/doubt away and pushing yourself - you can’t be surprised when the day arrives that you’re replaced with an electronic prop. With myself, instead of sliding, I do dives (that are meant to look like I’m barreling into things, flipping over and continuing to per-sue guests - chainsaw still running. ) My area is probably the length of half a football field, and typically I need to control the entire area - and occasionally have support from one person. I take pride in pushing myself to my absolute limit each time. And each time, I’m usually absolutely toast for the remainder of the week. And I’m 5’11, 235lbs and certainly not young. Each night I’m covered in bruises, cuts, scrapes and more. I likely sprint the length of 50 football fields a night, crash into fences/bushes a dozen times, go over a railing hip first a dozen times and do a tripping/keep running gag a dozen times as well. Not to mention the screaming that needs to be heard over a loud chainsaw, and various voice pitch distortions - plus probably 200+ pulls on the chainsaw pull chord. But regardless of the toll it takes… Hearing/seeing the reactions from those who are terrified, to those who applaud I’m amazement… To those who have already experienced you and return to take a picture with you, or show their friends… It’s all worth it. Especially when haunts are losing their magic, raw innovation is passed into special effects and scares have been boiled down to nothing but jump scares/gore. People need to keep innovating. Keep reaching for new heights, and to never be afraid to try something new. Take old and overkilled roles, and breath new life into them. Fearlessness is the only thing that can create fear in others.
I’ve been sliding for 4-5 years at local haunts & the 13th floor & people will always complement me to the staff & people will tell me that I am talented & should work at Knotts. It’s my DREAM!! I always talk to my parents about it & they laugh n tell me that I need to relax.
Hey man go for it definitely try out for a slider position I'm a fellow slider at my local haunts as well and it's definitely alot of fun but if you wanna do sliding at Knotts then definitely go for it man I wanna take my sliding skills and work for a bigger haunt as well because it's fun so yeah definitely go for it man
This looks amazing and I was just about to book it when I read IT IS ONLY 5 MINUTES in duration. Can someone confirm that for me? That just cannot be right!
Hmmmm i never heard of this establishment. I just heard about it by chance. Or a Devine order. Idk. Are they any rules or regulations on what we can do or bring with us on the ride ?
Oh, dear lord! I can't believe there is a picture of Todd in the steak costume with us at 50:50! I have never laughed so hard as I did that night- all of us chasing him through the crowd as his little feet stuck out the bottom of the costume, moving in a flash, as he ran from us screaming! That was a great night! Thank you for the pictures, the stories, and the memories. Camile
If SFMM wanted to restore Revolution back to it's original 1976 version, first off go back to a 5 Train operation. Yes, 5 Trains. Look at real historical photos of this Coaster and you will count 5 Trains. This is why the transfer tracks are so long. Over the yrs Revolution went to 3 Train operation, now down to 2 Trains. Now that the VR Crap is 1 and done, Magic Mountain should build 2 more Trains to increase ride capacity. Finally, Remove those LAME ASSED TRIM BRAKES from the hill before the Loop and after the Tunnel. It was never mentioned how the Revolution once operated this way. I rode Revolution for the 1st time 1 yr after the release of the film Rollercoaster, and the the end of the Coaster experience had a very strong finish after the final helix. Now the Trains travel over the last short incline hill before the final helix so slowly, it feels like the Trains are going to valley. SNOOZE FEST!!! It's apparently the guy who works at SFMM never rode The REAL Revolution. On a short note, I'm not at all impressed with Twisted Colossucks. The best version of the Once Mighty Colossus was after it reprofiled and reopened in December 1979 with the addition of new PTC Trains that had the standard Buzzer Lap Bars. What Great Floater Airtime the Trains delivered.
