I got the hrt railed model. It has never had a jam or issue. I have new colts, ww2 colts, stacatto p, and a colt custom race gun but my springfield has out preformed all of them
I don't understand why they closed the custom shop. They sold everyone they made they had years of waiting lists. It was definitely a money maker, so why would you close it?
Because they make WAY more money making cheaper guns and selling those. Why spend all the time making custom guns to make a 2K profit of a 3.5K gun when you can make that easier slapping together cheap plastic guns (like the Echelon)? The latter makes more sense.
Thanks for your findings of the dynamic two! The Benny Hill back ground music was funny as hell! You missed out on making them go fast speed in the video like Benny Hill used to fast action his stuff😂
I remember when that version of the TRP first came out, a friend in Las Vegas SWAT started carrying one . Beautiful pistol .. all business 🫡🇺🇸. Thanks for your time .
@@lancestenfeldt9551yeah I hear ya. There was a Rail Gun package for $900 on there about a month ago. Was a great steal. www.tacswap.com/post/66c0e7e114a35b2af2c0b047
Great review. Been thinking about an ACW 1911. The classic looks and heirloom quality is what is drawing me to ACW. 1 year later are you still pleased with ACW?
Yea dude I caught that when I was seeing their videos , raving in the video then go back and say they are awful. Then when I read through the comments they both came off like complete entitled a holes. “Yb paid his hard earned money at a stiff discount and wanted a bunch of things not optioned they were doing extra just for me!” Like the rest of us are just given money. They were mad they weren’t given extra extra special treatment after getting special treatment when quite frankly they didn’t deserve it. The kid has no experience worth listening to and the old man is an entitled fudd that doesn’t shoot for shit.
My man I never subscribed to Beretta channel, because they never came off as very legit I came across your channel, and I am loving this series Keep up the great work
I had the exact same issue All my magazines are Wilson combat, work great in my five Kimber, guns, and my Girsan However, when I bought my first, Dan Wesson, I had the same issue with it, not locking back I stretch the spring and it worked I ended up replacing and rebuilding all of my Wilson combat magazines The new rebuild kits have stiffer Springs then the originals $300 in rebuild kits for my mags, but I’m happy I found the issue
19:43 lmao mine is the exact same. I dang near removed the finish from the plug by using a bushing wrench on my mid 6000s Operator (Also ended up stripping the shape of the plastic plug wrench) 😂. I’ve had to resort to field stripping it the other way, popping out the slide stop under tension and removing the slide while holding the spring and then removing the plug and then using a metal bushing wrench to put it back together….. Btw, where are the Beretta boys? 😂😂we miss you on the 1911Addikts forum brotha
Yeah haha. Thats the only way to take it down. Popping out the slide stop first. Beretta boys are bumbling along with their low viewership to subscribers ratio. My transparency is too much for Razer to handle. He enjoys pandering to friends and unilateral enforcement of rules aka his feelings.
They will forever be complete buffoons in my book. They have videos of the new TRP’s and have “FBI HRT” in the title. Inaccurate and misleading but that’s who they are, a couple of nitwits
The custom shop is still there, but due to high demand they only make one gun, so you can hardly call them a "custom shop." Take a guess as to what that one gun is?
@goyofoyo like I said, it is still there, but they only make the Professional model. So it is not really a custom shop anymore. I guess you are correct for that reason.
As an owner or a crg myself thank you for this video! There aren’t many videos out there especially as detailed as yours! Appreciate your time and knowledge! People do t know ow how special these are and how rare!!!
I got my MC operator last year that came with the pachmayr. So that means I haven’t seen the third gen yet. Because the ones I’m seeing today down at my local shops that are being sold is still gen 2. Even in the website is still showing gen 2. So where is the gen 3??
@@JoeFromTheAfternoon Sounds to me like the gen 3 didn’t stay that long did it? And what are your thoughts on the Long Beach operator? Something I just learned today
@@samdequina3386it would seem that’s the case. The Long Beach is a good gun. It was basically a MC Operator but black frame and different grips. It was rarer and advertised as being LB police sidearm. Good gun for sure
Nice score. Received mine in 95’, no roll marks or numbers, it was a great gun. It ran flawlessly through out my career, now I don’t know if that credit goes to the technician that maintained it or the smith that made it. I don’t think Springfield is running things the same way they did back then, but I hear their 1911s are still solid.
Good to see another video and congrats on the double score. I've never seen the pro in CA but maybe I'll get lucky one day and find one. Enjoying my TRPs and Operators in the meantime. Keep up the good work.
Nope! It was the professional. If you look at my video on the full rail, TRP, it tells the history. The TRP was made to quench the demand for the public that wanted the professional but didn’t want to pay professional price. So the TRP came out as a production line variant to the custom professional
Love the 1911 videos. I like that you let the fire arm be shown the whole video and it’s up close and in high definition. How all reviews should be done
@@Rubelessapparently so, but I’m not 100% sure if they still make pros from time to time? Not well informed on current happenings unfortunately. I stopped following Springfield after I had 3 out of 3 of my production line springfield handguns be unreliable duds.
@@jakashhthe Pros are no longer made. They still have them advertised on their website but many people have called and they have verified they do not produce them any longer.
Dude send that full rail to Eric Mercier. He used to work for Joe chambers, he left and now runs his own shop. I had a full rebuild done in my Springfield prodigy and it’s nuts. He’s in the top three best builders in the country. (Mercier pistol works in Florida)

Hello. I don’t like the beavertail on this (too low for hand placement). Is there any way to replace with a quality high ride beavertail? Is it possible? Can you please recommend one? Thank you very much.
