I put my 2nd one on myself after paying dealership $500,then claiming to pay half since sold broken,so instead of paying $1000 I paid $500,took 30 mins, didn't do anything but change bag pull rim n wheel well off then back on
i had one of these for many years and honestly the best bike i ever had through all my years of riding, i started with XL125S THEN XL185S THEN XL250S all awesome bikes and all very reliable great bikes all round and they still command very good money here in the uk, glad your bringing this one back to life , good luck

Hey, I have an '86 lt250r that I'm rebuilding but I'm having trouble finding counter balancer bearings for the engine. I checked Partzilla and checked my local dealer but they are discontinued. Do you know where I might be able to find/buy them? Thanks.
@@newenglandlife978 This bearing is and has been like a hunt for a unicorn. I've been checking eBay on and off for a year now and even searched some bearing distributors online. CMSNL seems to have a lot of vintage parts but they don't have the bearing either. My last resort I'm thinking about is to get the counter balancer machined up because I have found a bearing with the OD and the Width with the same measurements but the ID is a millimeter bigger. It may be worth a shot.
@corylangille1869 I can’t imagine it’s not out there. I can look around. Do you have a part number? Have you tried joining Facebook groups for those machines? People on there are wizards
The front driver side air suspension elbow broke on my 2016. I replaced the elbow the next day. I get the "Selected Ride Height Not Permitted Due to Payload" and the driver side is riding on bump stops while the passenger side is at it's normal height. I have tried disconnecting the battery and pulling both the air suspension fuses but still no change. I've even driven it for short time to see if it will automatically recalibrate but no success. Anyone out there have any pointers?
Be careful what you plug into those. The 120Vac that comes off them is not a pure or even semi complete sin wave. Your router test would have been better if you tried to actually connect it to some devices and the internet. It might power on, but be unable to generate RF signals needed to do it's job.
So I took advice from a guy in the comments. Put the old rubber in boiling water and was able to finagle it on. Running the stock air system again and it runs mint. Definitely better with the bigger carb
So most of the time the truck will drive in aero or normal. That creates leaks in the shocks but only at those heights. You need to put it in normal and aero and spray soapy water to confirm leaking air bags. Amazon has them cheap. I blew a rear out the other day and got the pair of rears on Amazon for $150!

I bought bead breaker and it works but found a million other way to do it without this tool. Wasted my money. Just takes some patience using other method shown on youtube......
The cans are definitely worth it. The spouts…NO. And I mean even the “good” ones. I have six cans. Use a harbor freight hand pump and save yourself a mess, but the cans are LEGIT.
I have a 2021 Ram 1500 that will not hold the last setting. It keeps going back to the mid setting. as soon as you start to drive. It also is a 3.0 ED. I like the ride to be at the lowest setting. It held this till I got into a small hit on the front end, now back from the shop it will not hold the lowest setting

Just watch your video on Ram air suspension. My 2014 was all the way down, rear left bag was leaking, and the pump was noise. I replace both rear bags and the compressor but the compressor will not run to lift the truck. New fuse, New relay but nothing. Would you give a suggestion on what to look at next, thanks.
