Not from Johnny, but my favorite line from the entire game is from Delamain of all characters. "We all eventually run out of fuel. But that hardly means the journey wasn't pleasant."
We can all agree johny is such a good written character that we are going to miss and keanu did a really good job, I hope someday we see johny again somehow...
"It's a war against the fuckin' forces of entropy, understand?" - I get where Johnny comes from with this one quote. I got Johnny from the beginning almost, because his anger is the same kind of anger I've only ever seen in combat veterans and myself as a combat veteran. Not the lunatic fringe, but the guys that went off saw their friends die in the most horrific ways and all for nothing in the end.
"Желаю вам, блять, приятных сновидений" Я конечно понимаю, юмор, карт-бланш на мат, все дела. Но блин, в оригинале не то, что мата в этом моменте нет, но и сам Джонни звучит более искренне, что ли.
I hate Johnny, but everynow and then he says something that makes me almost like him, almost, then he makes a joke out of someone’s pain for no f*cking reason and ruins it
Haha yeah this was funny af and i didn't see that coming first time I played this. Johnny overall has a great sense of humour like after banging river he says "I can't believe you made me fk a cop" & then there's my favourite monk mission where Johnny shows u the finger so you can flip him back but then he proceeds to show u both mid fingers 💀 There's just way too many funny Johnny moments in this game 😂
my favourite line is probably… i forget what quest, but V is doing something, Johnny goes “what do we have here” then one of your dialogue options is “looks like a box” (maybe the only one you can actually click depending on your stats) and Johnny goes “you’re a fuckin’ box, try cyberdeck” in response
My best was in the secret ending: Huh you just discovered what it takes to become a legend.... grab ur iron, lets mobolize. pffffffffff 😈❤🔥 and: get the payload on the elevator arm it let gravity do its thing explosion rocks the foundation tower crumbles chaos screaming roll credits
My favourite is in the sinnerman side quest when u get into a surreal situation and the nutjob wants to convince u to go with them. Johnny: "Finnaly something that isn't a complete snorefest. Could binge watch this all day if I had some popcorn." "Hah that's it got no fking idea whats this is about but if u dont go with them im never talking to you again."
Johnny: "Here lies Johnny Silverhand..." V: "...the guy who saved my life." Johnny: *takes off his sunglasses and stands up* "V... You have no idea how much I want that to be true." "Of all the heads I could have popped into, hella glad it was yours."
I JUST finished this and I really liked this part cause its right after Panam shuts V down and I expected Johnny to come in and say some douchey stuff or crack a joke at V’s expense but he just plays along with the bit in such a harmlese way. This scene is honestly when I first start to really like Johnny
