I tried to download your preset but I get this error message "HX edit was unable to import presets in this set due to following errors: -8704 - Preset translation not supported, too many parallel dsp paths" HX Stomp newbie here. How would I download this patch ? Please and thank you.
Thank you for putting in the work for us! I recently discovered the ADAM and I think it is still going to be my pursuit of choice. "Keep Doing That Voodoo That You Do!"
How is the transpose tracking wise without drive engaged? Does it get funky after a few semi tones down? Like -5 semi tones to give a four string a b string.
Something weird is going on with your mic. When the gate on your mic's audio disengages and allows audio through, there is an odd kinda wobbly high pitched noise, sounds like interference of some kind? Hoping this helps future videos but sweet video otherwise, and thanks for covering this!
@@SubOxyde Thanks for the feedback! I noticed that as well - was a bad cable or something somewhere! Sadly, it became apparent AFTER I had shot the video and was about to edit. Didn’t have time to re-do the entire video 😅 Will troubleshoot for future videos. Thanks! 🙏
On their website they say that this is a free upgrade for existing users. Does that mean I can get the Parallax X for free if I already have Parallax? And if so, how exactly does this upgrade happen?
@@erikarko Man I would love to do a QC. Both of my band's guitarists play out of laptops with the Gojira X. It's such an easy setup for them to do while I'm putting the pedalboard down and hooking everything up and it just sounds like shit no matter how much we dial it in. It's probably just easier for me to transition to a laptop rig like them and keep it uniform
Check out Mammoth bass at Auroradsp. I have Parallax but stumbled across Mammoth, there’s no comparison in my opinion. And it’s on summer sale for an awesome price.
@@erikarko thanks man, currently using a fender american pro 5 string for drop A flat and drop A tuning on a couple songs, and have to play super gentle. I was wondering if a dingwall would make that low string tighter, someday ill have to try a dingwall super p 5 string. i love me some deep rumbly bass.
Thanks for this review. I'm not as straight as you regarding the "need" of the cab simulation from the SGT-DI. The two share similar circuits, but are two different products. I didn't like the cabsim on the DI, the volume knob never matched between cabs, therefore, only one was really usable live once the whole controls were set. An amp is made for being played with a real cab. There are so many ways nowadays to play silent (preamps, ampsim VSTs, etc.). The on/off switch on this V7 is quite nice, I think. Damn, it's so difficult to try those amps without having to buy them (and return them afterwards), I really need to grow my audience to let manufacturers send me stuff too 😅
@@erikarko awesome, looking forward to that. Just about to do my first live show with the QC I’m a little nervous to be honest. Very different from the amp / cab way I’m used to
@@KwaiChangKane The things that I did in this video still apply - there are just a few cool new additions with 3.0 that I’m gonna mention once that’s released :)
