Note: At 18:45 I mention that the version 2 feels way more responsive, and I can now confirm (after talking to the guys at Keith McMillen Instruments) that yes, they have improved the new 12 Step significantly in terms of responsiveness 👍
Just got mine v2. So far, no keys seem impossible to trigger. I’m sure it’s user error.but even adjusting the sensitivity, I have to use lethal force to trigger a note. I was hoping to supplant my Hammond pedals (heavy to carry). But I feel like the keys are really unresponsive so far.
I always thought that version 1 was a little hard to play with your feet even with the sensitivity set to its maximum. Hopefully the keys are more sensitive now.
I just tried the 12 Step version 2 and the Global Sensitivity is not that much improved. I set it for 100% and it was still tough to play with your feet. I’m used to actual Moog or Fatar pedals which are very easy to play in comparison.
@@erikarko when is this update supposed to drop? I just got the 12 step version 2 today and the sensitivity is really terrible. I can trigger the keys with my hands if I press very hard like you do in the video, but I'd say its about a 60% success rate with my feet, still pressing very hard. unusable. bummer..
@@erikarko Sorry, so just to make sure. I only need it connected to a computer to setup and download presets and whatnot? Then afterwards I can just take the unit to shows without a computer at all? I’m very new to these types of things and midi in general. Thanks! By the way, just subscribed!
