Please tell me where I can get the blanket pattern for this. I started one a while ago and went back to your video link and it was gone. I have made 3 or 4 of these for weddings. It is my go to wedding gift. Please help!
I clicked the Stitch Foundry website link at the bottom of the description. I got an immediate virus warning 😡 I'm using these stitches in thread to make a lace vest. I've modified them to work in the round with inceases. I was interested in your other offerings 😢
Hi, ok soooo, 😊 I recounted, tore out my work, started over, counted and followed you instructions exactly and this us not coming out like yours, it's not working for me and your instructions arent totally clear as you say things to do that are not making sense. So sorry! 😊 thanks anyway...
Very nice stitch. 😊 however, I chained my multiple of 6 plus 3, I chose to chain 36 + 3 which is 39 total, then DC in the 5th chain as you directed, and DC in each ch to end of row. turn work, CH 3, SC in next stitch as you instructed, skip 2, V stitch in next, ch 2, skip 2, SC in next, to end of row, exactly like you did, but I'm coming out with a SC before the last 4 STS, I dont get it, I am doing the same thing as you did...😊 going count again and try again...
Very well explained and honestly, I have to say thank you for putting out a video in American terms. I try to follow along with videos, knowing full well what are the differences for UK terms. But if I’m not staying sharp, it gets confusing… so I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for that. Your videos are very nice to follow.
Hello, I'm trying to make your blanket "Stay Wild Moon Child" but I'm having a problem right from the start. In row 1, why do you start your double crochet in the 5th chain from the hook? Every pattern I've ever done starts a row of double crochets in the 4th chain from the hook. I went with 5th chain anyway, and after completing the 2nd row, I find myself missing a stitch. You say there should be "4 stitches remaining" at the end, but I only have 3. If I had done the first double crochet on the previous row in the 4th chain, I'd have that missing stitch. Or is there something else I'm doing wrong? I've pulled this row out twice now and redone it, making very sure I was only skipping the correct number of stitches each time, but I keep ending up with 3 stitches remaining. Please any help or insight you can give would be great! I really don't want to have to pull out all the double crochets and do that row again, but I think that's my only recourse here. The math also just doesn't add up either. The blanket says to start with 198 chains, then after doing that row of double crochets starting in the 5th chain, you end up with 194 double crochets (including the chains that count as 1 double crochet) but the pattern says you should have 195. I'd have 195 if I had started in the 4th chain. I'm so confused what I'm doing wrong here!
I found this very informative. I feel overwhelmed when I look at a pattern. I have been crocheting at different times in my life and enjoy it very much. Thank you for your video.
Thank you! I can’t remember now, I think I adapted it from an old stitch pattern in one of my vintage stitch dictionaries. One of my favourites as well ❤️
@@TheStitchFoundryCrochet oooo that's amazing. Smart idea. I have an old stitch bible, and a couple of other books. Inspired to check them out now. And I saw the blanket! I plan on trying it out soon. Those stitches are so cool.
I honestly can't believe what I just achieved by following your video ! 3 weeks ago I first picked up a crochet hook so I'm VERY new to this, I did have to slow the video down and rewind a fair few times for certain stiches but I made it to the end 😅 pretty proud of myself right now, thank you so much for your instruction.
I absolutely love all three patterns. I'm presently making a throw blanket with all three stitches for my new home. Thanks for breaking up the three stitches in separate video tutorials. Fabulous idea! Peace.
I did the astro stitch with a starting chain of 90. But now I want to add this pattern but I don't know if I can with the chain 90. I started the process and started with the chain 5 but ended on the chain 3. Any way I can fix this
I find this pattern absolutely beautiful!! I would LOVE to make a bedspread using this pattern, but I am struggling with the stitches pulling unevenly on row 5! I have frogged them and re-stitched that row twice and it still pulls. I am doing something wrong.
