I don't know if you check your comments any more but I just found this pattern on your channel and it's so very beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
I love this! I'm always looking for stitches that are more like patterns to use in blankets, and this is perfect. Using it to make a friend's baby blanket now. Thank you and can't wait to see more from you!
💕Get the free written stitch pattern on my blog www.thestitchfoundry.com/different-crochet-stitches/puffs-and-shells-textured-stitch-pattern/ ✌️ Who's going to try this stitch? 😍
Thank you! I can’t remember now, I think I adapted it from an old stitch pattern in one of my vintage stitch dictionaries. One of my favourites as well ❤️
@@TheStitchFoundryCrochet oooo that's amazing. Smart idea. I have an old stitch bible, and a couple of other books. Inspired to check them out now. And I saw the blanket! I plan on trying it out soon. Those stitches are so cool.
It's a beautiful blanket and I'd really love to make it. However, I'm having trouble accessing the full blanket pattern as a connection error message occurs when I click on the link. I'd also like to know what border you used to finish your work. Thanks for your help!
Hi Janet, thanks for letting me know. I've contacted my web host to sort it out. You can still access the website by clicking on the advanced options on your browser, although I understand if you do not feel confortable doing this. I'll let you know once it's fixed!
@@TheStitchFoundryCrochet Thank you! I'll keep an eye out for your reply. One more question, if you would be so kind: Does the blanket require an initial stitch count that is a multiple of both 6 and 8, such as 24, 48, 72, etc.? Thanks again! Looking forward to making this beautiful design.
Hi Janet, I think its working now 🤞 the initial stitch count is a multiple of 24, plus 3, plus an additional 3. So for example my blanket started with 198 chains which resulted in 195 sts. Hope this helps!
@@TheStitchFoundryCrochet Yes it works! And, the starting stitch counts makes sense, as well. Thanks so much! ❤️ I greatly appreciate your quick response. Now, to crochet ...
I'm confused on the multiple. I'm wanting to combine this with other stitches so I'm finding Stitches with the same multiples and ive never come across two pluses. Like normally it's 6 for the pattern plus 3 for the starting ch stitch. So would this technically be 9 plus 3? Any help would be fantastic.
Hi Christina, thanks so much for your question. I can see why it could be clearer. I'll explain it another way, the pattern is a multiple of 6, plus add on 6 stitches to account for the beginning and end of the whole row, as well as the starting chain. Hope this helps! Good luck with your blanket, let me know if you need any more info 😊
