This might be a hot take. I think AC Valhalla could have been a good game if the game was more like the TV show Vikings, especially using the version of Ivarr in Vikings. Ivarr in Valhalla was annoying and lame. Also, the game should be about concerning and building your own army. If they wanted to make the game more of an Assassin's Creed game, the concerning should have been the Norse/Assassins vs. the Christian/Templars. Where you take land from the Templars that the Assassins used to own and rebuild and fix the old Roman brotherhood. Also, we should have had a Russia DLC where you assassinate the leader of Russia and see the Silk Road. Sorry about the long one. You can use part of it or break it into little pieces.
Thanks for featuring my comment. I said it was useless because I compared how much damage the hidden blade does in combat. If I remember correctly, almost all the melee weapons in AC3 do pretty close to the same damage. I think it's a three-hit kill. Also, using the word "useless" was harsh.
Any game with magic weapons like fire poison ice etc is not asassins creed so from origins onward..... isu wepons can't explain that since a basic ass woodden spear has fire magic in them....
I was so excited for legion as a Londoner and a watch dogs fan and it really was just the finale of overhyped Ubisoft shit. Watch dogs 1 looked like a stealth orientated gta with hacking superpowers and felt more like a dodgy modern day mafia clone but worse. Didn’t stop me playing it a bunch of times and I enjoyed the vibe and tone of the game but it was way more trash than it should have been. Watch dogs 2 absolutely destroyed anything tonally cool about the first and woke and cringified storytelling. However, the gameplay was fun and although over the top and too arcadey it did expand upon the first game, Legion I can’t even begin to discuss. All I will say as it felt more primitive than the first game, and devout of any character development whatsoever as there wasn’t any. I think the franchise is dead. Perhaps in ten years there will be a forgettable reboot or soft reboot but I wouldn’t count on it. Give me a modern assassins creed game - even the assassin dlc was disappointing.
Watch Dogs Legion is good. I find that some Players were asking the devs for more, more, more in terms of expectations and content. Watch Dogs will either live on or die if the fans let it. We need more Watch Dogs but fans need to tame their expectations, in my opinion.
Lemme Talk to yah, legion was ok at best bloodline is what we should have got and the gameplay is ok however I feel we should have got watch_dogs 2 gameplay evolved and more hacking
@@TrueKingWheelie Out of all the watch dogs games, legion seems to have a higher replay value. Mainly due to the 'play-as-anyone' feature. The story had to accommodate the idea of multiple protagonists, which has never been done before. So it could never be as deep of a character study as the other games. Each watchdog game has a unique gameplay style. If players in Legion had more customizable options per character, it would hurt the 'play-as-anyone' feature. As no one would be unique. So it had to be balanced. Regardless of where you stand on the game, we need more from this series. I think fans and influencers aren't sending the right message to devs about a sequel. Valhalla is the only bad assassin's creed. Odyssey is an ancestor to an assassin. You play a mercenary of that can be an assassin but is more of a warrior and a demi god. Not a bad game. Valhalla is the only bad game. Blotted piece of crap.

However assassin's creed odyssey struggled to join up to the games, the waste of Darius a legacy assassin's by the way is unfortunate and we should have played as him, and saying Aya is related to kassandra is ridiculous and is just there to join them up, valhalla is bloated yes but get rid of the bloatedness you have a decent story ignoring the mythological stuff though I still believe we should have played as Basim in valhalla

I almost fully agree with Odyssey not being AC but it does have the modern day(not great but it's there) and that is the main story. Easy to forget that it's AC
Faster movement in Valhalla gives me some hope as I'll be playing for the first time after I beat Odyssey. Odyssey movement is embarrassing not even counting parkour. Kassandra's mother runs faster the her! Just one of the things that made me think "what were they thinking?"
Please keep up the hot-take videos love them. Here's a hot take. The Tomahawk is a major disappointment especially since you can't throw it. I think the Tomahawk is useless compared to just using the hidden blades as a weapon.

Most of this is just the big culture war push that always resurges. Then, yea there's always some big "issues" when it comes to black people being main characters and protagonists in games. There will certainly be real issues with the games since it's assassin's creed and those games all have issues, but fuck me, these people are just insufferable.

They say it’s “Not historically accurate” yet do everything in their power to convince you it’s true by editing wiki articles and every “gaming” outlet telling you he was a samurai irl which is still debatable due to the severe lack of hard historical facts about his life which is *exactly* why they picked him as the first real historical figure you play as in an assassin’s creed game because they can just make shit up. Changing Jack the Ripper to be an assassin is a shit defense for shadows because jacks change is *believable* someone who is known as a mass murder being an assassin isn’t far fetched just like how Leonardo fixing and making assassin weapons isn’t crazy because he was always an inventor. Despite being fiction they have always tried to make any historical changes make sense or believable and that’s the problem with yasuke and the more modern games as a whole. Going from magical artifacts which is a little believable to fighting literal gods was obviously a step too far from a lot of old assassins creed fans because of what I just described above. They fucked up so much cultural stuff despite saying they have experts on the team like harvesting rice in the spring even though it’s actually done in fall. You can’t defend assassins creed by saying it’s fiction when these are the same people who made a world so accurate it made a historian cry.

It isn't debatable. The Japanese have been saying since this broke that we in the west were given false info. There are, at most, three sentences mentioning Yasuke, but only one is actually confirmed. No mention of Samurai or even Bushi status. It's always been speculated he was a Samurai based on the fact they treat him as a folk hero, like Johnny Appleseed in the US. Real person but a ridiculously exaggerated story.

They're literally stating as FACT Yausuke was Samurai when no, the evidence not only shows this was NEVER the case, but it's come to light almost all we were told in the west was based on one English teacher who lives in Japan falsely editing articles AND giving a fake translation of a document to fit the fake narrative. AC might have always taken creative liberties, but this goes well beyond. Not only do we now know there is zero evidence Yasuke was a Samurai, we also know what evidence we did have is fake and utilized a fake translation. And this is but one problem Shadows now has. Borgia was real and a VERY corrupt pope. Shown as such but with creative liberty. DaVinci was an inventor (even had a design made for a tank so he DID dabble in weaponry). In AC he was as well, again given creative liberty. Washington? That's when they started REALLY stretching and many called it out. Stop shilling.
Japan are just annoying with this stuff Ubisoft is as well which is why I'm in the middle ground of all this confusing none sense and this feels like a court fight over who controls what within the game or company now so Japan needs to cool their minds think more clearly on what they are doing. as in their history is plentiful but look at a game called what ghost of Tsushima that is also based in Japan feudal Japan no wrong doing their because oh wait its because the company who made the game is from Japan itself so it does not matter at all so i see clearly on why Japan hates ac shadows and why they made the petition on the game but still they are fighting fire with fire which will not end nicely at all for either sides
@@VVabsa Does it even count as the Japanese getting into action though? A lot of the architecture is more Chinese than Japanese in nuance. A lot of written characters used in promotional materials is also in Chinese Mandarin instead of Japanese kanji... Doesn't seem like the writers and developers did their research and just said "Whatever, it's Asian. It's all the same lol".

The character has 75 hp. But it has a smaller hit box. You need to move quickly with your floating double jump to not get hit while shooting. Not recommend at long range, which the weapon has very spreading bullets. Use the gravity grenade if you really want to KO someone who's always running. Or. Needing some time to run away if you're at too much low hp. Or a group of plants only with your temmies with you if the plants are players too. Use impkata in a group of plants if you think your hp is good for it enough. or surprise, attack them with it. don't use both abilities together because the plants are really together in the gravity grenade. It's a waste of impkata. Now the mech. you are slower in it. still make sure to move around while shooting. you can't self-heal. Find a scientist to heal you if you're at low health. You can take on a group of plants with your rocket ability. So use it if you see them close to each other. if your primary is on overheat and you're getting shot by a plant. Use the rocket on not of a group of plants if you still wanna be in the mech. Or use your stomp ability on it. Or a group of plants. That's all I gotta say. This was the long comment I ever made, maybe.
The combat has really been flushed out this time around we’ve got what seems to be more of a rpg combat experience rather then a game that forced you to make a build like odyssey to compete against. And hell yeah you noticed that too people keep spreading it around ghost this ghost that ghost will be rebooted with ghost to wait ya turn
@TheNexxuss I think odyssey needs to be put as not cannon it tries so hard to be attached to origins but makes no sense valhalla is way to long though I zee the story it was trying to make.
I don't care what you all say! This is the game we've been waiting for. All it needs is a online multiplayer mode we're we can roam around and combat eachother in groups or pvp.
