YOU CAN DO THIS💞 When I was younger, an art teacher told me I was terrible at art. I never wanted my children or others to feel defeated by art.Encouraging others to create is a passion of mine. Art can be so therapeutic and a great outlet for stress. Many know how beneficial the creative process can be, but there are some people out there who never attempt creating because they do not think they can or are worried they will not be "any good." I hope to promote confidence in you to be creative and enhance your life.
By all means, feel free to rotate your rock. Just don't go so fast. Like a child in a computer chair. Lol. I think your curved paint brush would help with not getting your palm in the paint. Your video is the first I've watched that uses a brush only. Very neat
hi Miranda, i am having a problem getting smooth swipes on canvases. the weave of the canvas is rough despite a couple of coats of background paints, not as all smooth like a stone or at least the moulded stones. would a heavy gesso help with this? I have tried the angled dotting brush, all of the dotting styluses and the Etching tool not with much success. maybe i need to do several hundred more, lol. I like painting the wood slices, thank you for bringing these to our attention. I am suspending them on fishing leaders using heavy acrylic glitter on the backs and dubbed them Tree Friends. they are beautiful as non Christmas yard decorations spinning in the wind. I am coating them with the Liquetex varnish on front, sides, and back so the weather won't damage them, the ideas for these seem endless, little jewels in our friends the trees. I am sanding them to get a smoother surface for painting. I really love your channel, thank you for being there for those of us who have never had an art class. Deborah, San Antonio, TX.
@Miranda Pitrone Art I know this video is older, I wondered if you still used the liquitex, or if you have found something better how is the odor of the varnish? Also do you have a video that might show the finished rocks after the varnish has dried? Thank you😊
Hi Miranda 🥰I am a Dot Artist in New Zealand and have admired your youtube tutorials since 2019! I did watch this original video with the music though can't remember what the music was 🥰 I tried to join your Instagram page with the link provided in the description, but for some reason can't seem to access your page? I've never been on it before as am quite new so wondering why? Shame about the music being removed from your video 🥰
Yes. My Instagrams were all shut down or blocked. For some reason yt us going through old video and removing them or the music. I can't keep up with all the ridiculous technological changes these days. Fb is blocked and subdued as well. I am sorry. It is an all around frustrating situation
@@MirandaPitrone @MirandaPitrone thank you 🥰truly no need to be sorry, that's such a shame that it's becoming like this, I'm put off it all too but still love your tutorials I learnt so much from you when I was learning mandala dot art so thank you so much 🥰
hi Miranda, love this blue dolphin and the champange background and it does look like golden sand, i am wondering what you are doing with the back of the disk? i am making some to hang in my lovely mulberry tree outside. i have been coating the back with paints like Dragonfly glazes and the holographic glitter paints and then the Liquetex gloss varnish, since these are outside blowing in then wind. Love your channel Deborah
I have used it on coasters just fine. However, I will say that I had a bottle that is older varnish. Probably 2 years and I needed to go over it with a coat of newer varnish.
I do, but I have a good client list. I have been selling allover the world for 10 years. Keep at it, but also you should do them because you enjoy it. It will show in your work💞💞😉
Hi from Florida! I’m new to Mandala art and I thank you for your videos! I am learning so much from you and am excited at the thought of getting better at it!!
Miranda, your photography is fantastic. I have been a photographer for more years than I can remember. I loved seeing your photos. Would love to see more! Thanks for the small rock video. I have a few on my table right now to make for my sister. I planted some succulents for her and want to top dress the soil with mandala stones. Perfect timing for me. 💚💛💚
I find having the transcript helps with going back or fast forward. It would be helpful to have chapters every time you change patterns, no need to shorten because RU-vid has Shorts.Thank you!
Love when I find a video I haven’t seen. The colors on this one are wonderful. Still recovering from bilateral cataract surgery on Monday. Hopefully I’ll be able to paint tomorrow. Everything is still too bright. 😂
Love the colors. I think I’ll practice using my brush on this design. I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ve been busy making our family photo calendar for 2024. I start it with February. 😂
