10:14 pm, july 5 2024, i was not much into watching fatal journey even though i watched the living dead. i thought it'd be boring and just plots about nie clan and meng yao's past arc. however, this edit vid right here single handedly intrigued me sm to watch the spin off. i'm esp more interested in learning about huaisang's character in more detail now as he's shown to be someone who's not so well versed in martial arts, and here he's seen to be more of an artist; also how he's fond of that fan of his in the drama. this specific part relates to me since i'm also a fellow artist myself. the scene where his big brother is protecting him caught my attention. i assume the spin off would go in depth regarding the changes in their bond from red blade master wanting huaisang to leave art and do martial art, to communicating to him about protecting him and showing his care for him. then, huaisang's mastermind comes into play by summoning wei ying paired with lan zhan, the kind of unbeatable combo to avenge his brother's death. also exposing meng yao, which cleared up wei ying's name of things he never did. along with being cautious of not being caught by anyone by playing the "fool." huaisang is lowkey so well written, i wish they extended tha drama with a few more episodes actually showing how he did things behind the scenes! i'm off to watch the fatal journey now.
I love Wen siblings but I'm disappointed in how CQL portrayed them. In the novel they appear very little but every appearance is strong and emotional. Your edits are great!❤
I understand that XY is a dark narrative foil. I understand that he is a fictional character and he is supposed to give the audience some kind of catharsis. But. I just don't like him. You made a great video out of it though.
Such a beautiful edit. The Untamed is my favourite high fantasy show of all time and Wei Wuxian has to be one of the best characters ever. I am here bawling my eyes out after watching this. Haven't seen the Untamed in 3 years but I see that it is still just as deep and heartbreaking. Thanks for the wonderful edit
Touching video. I can't imagine a more perfect and better perfirmed character than Lan Zhan. It doesn't matter how many dramas I watch, Lan Zhan remains my favourite👏👏👏
One of my favourite characters! He’s not a villain, nor a bad person. He’s a good guy, an artistic soul, who was forced to do what he had to do when his last family member was brutally taken away from him by someone he trusted and considered as a named brother.
I don't know if you read this someday, but A BIG THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I lost my words, cuz I'm crying rn. The Untamed has a special place in my heart and watching your video was like a new breath to me for loving this title more and more. You made a masterpiece indeed. The music and atmosphere of the video are incredible. I feel the amazing nostalgia, so my eyes in tears now. I watched your another the untamed edits and I can tell u you're amazing editor🤍. Hope you will return someday with another great video. I'll wait for you no matter what. Thank you, dear!
I've watched all the videos about The Untamed characters that you made. I admire you a lot. Your video is more than a masterpiece. I did cry while watching it 😭
Thanks a lot for this video. Jiang Cheng is my favourite character and the relationship between two brothers is as important for me as a relationship between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian
I’ve seen a couple takes interpreting Wei Wuxian’s last line to Nie Huaisang as something negative; but I honestly think it was just him letting NHS know that they see eye-to-eye. Both of them could be seen as the devil, to the cultivation world as a whole. Neither of them ascribe to morals as black-and-white as the Lan sect precepts, and they never have. That last line is WWX looking at NHS and saying, “we both are devils, but we’re still friends.” At least to me.
Next to Yanill, Wen Qing was the most innocent and certainly the most courageous character in the series. She knew her rabid cousin Wen Choa would punish her but she still maintained her devotion to medicine and justice. When she said she deserved punishment, I wanted to ask “for what?” It was truly tragic that JC led the mob in taking her life, seeing what she had done for him. 😢
I think JC was so angry with WWX so often because he needed to be allowed to care for him and protect him but every time he tried WWX rejected it, because the way JC was trying to help was not helpful and the idiots can't have a *conversation* without Jiang Yanli there to interpret. They both speak different dialects of dumbass with WWX very much in his "I'm poison to everyone I love so I must push them away" era, and JC being the angry caretaker type who calls you a moron and fusses about how rude and inconsiderate you are while wrapping you in a blankey. WWX would take JC's words to heart and then reject the blankey which lowkey kinda fucked JC up cause how are you gonna accept being called an idiot then reject the care taking that comes with it, I'm trying to tell you I LOVE YOU and you keep pushing me away! Also speaking as a younger sibling there is a big dose of seeing your older sibling as perfect and feeling like the only way you can compete is if you can prove to everyone that they're NOT perfect, which is something you have to grow out of as you become more mature.
