It’s nearly silent unless the water level starts getting too low in the tank. Then you either have to top off your aquarium or turn down the flow rate. It does come with all the media you would need to start, but you can also use or add other types if you like. Will you be showing your build progress on RU-vid? We’d like to see it.
@@hagenhilldesign I've never thought of getting into videoing it but I could. I got into the hobby when my brother-in-law gifted all of his fish to my 4-year-old. He gave her 1 10g and 1 30g tank but way to many and way to large of fish for the tanks. He had a 90-gallon for them and there is an 8" pleco and 2 large angels. I have the pleco on his own in the 10g tank until I get him in the bigger setup. I tried to rehome them but my wife wanted to keep them. So I found 2 tanks at Value Village for 20 dollars. I resealed the 75g. It holds water so now I just need a filter, some sand substrate. ( I have Fluval aqua soil that I will cap with my glow-gravel and some sand) Lastly, I'm going to pick up a stand on Wayfare.
@@JayRockDoesStuff sorry dude. Thanks for the replay. It was a pretty good one. Katie got to stick around through the whole thing!!! Don’t miss Garden of Eder at 8 central
Question. What do you do with all the plants come winter? Im learning plants over the last few years or so as a focus. Winter time tosses me for a loop. I have that work bench you have with the smaller tank on it. mine is full of 3d printing gear and i have 1 in the garage too. I also appreciate the shout out in this video!! You Rock! I hope you build your terrarium soon, mine failed maybe we need to get in a hang out and build them at the same time or something one day . I need to redo mine- i think the jeff kane dirt was to ritch for moss. good stuff man keep doin your thing. Oh hows the sleep schedule. feeling it yet?
The house plants and pond plants we bring inside over the winter. It gets too cold in the greenhouse. The veggies we just tear out and start over in the spring. So far, we have done nothing with the glass that came with the drop. We are currently using the light for our one gallon fish bowl that only has plants and snails in it. We want to move some shrimp into it soon. We have plans to turn one of our older fish tanks into a terrarium. The sleep schedule isn’t ideal right now, but it could be worse. River is sleeping pretty good at night. She’s just an early riser. The cutest alarm clock ever… 😊
S.E. Wisconsin here. Same thing with us. Can never seem to find enough time (or money) to properly get things done (like setting up my fish tanks). Stuff ends up piled everyplace. Then you end up having to keep moving stuff around to work on anything and that becomes work and slows things down even more. Oh well. Working on life stuff now to try and make more time...
Everything looks great. Thanks for sharing!! I can definitely relate to the lack of time. I don’t seem to get everything done when I want to. Just have to prioritize and it all gets done in due time.
