Hi Guys! We are Liam and Steph! We LOVE to play games and watch/react to movies/tv shows and trailers! As someone who basically lives on RU-vid, we find ourselves wanting more and more to become a part of the community! It is a huge passion in our lives and we love watching people's enjoyment as they experience things for the very first time! So ... we thought it was about time we tried to share our enjoyment on RU-vid with you all!
On this channel we will be posting reactions but as a huge gamer, Liam will also be posting gameplay of campaign games so we can experience them together…. which I am really excited about!
I appreciate you for being here and I hope you enjoy the content! :)
Did a Japanese soldier's gun keep jamming when he had Desmond in his sights? While lowering the men down the ridge, the Japanese had a clear shot at Desmond Doss. Though it's not depicted in the movie, one Japanese soldier recalled having Desmond in his sights, but every time he went to fire, his gun jammed. -The Conscientious Objector Documentary
This film is emotional, so beautiful... thank you guys for the great reaction, do you want to be moved like this again? Seriously consider watching, society of the snow, sound of freedom (Mel Gibson movie too), and Schindler List! hugs from Brazil!
First time visitor; new sub 🤗Hahaha this was fun. Can't wait for _Aliens_ hehe Edit: 28:02 would've been the _perfect_ thumbnail 😆-And imagine seeing this in a big, dark theater with 200 other terrified people, lol. I was 18 when this came out. We'd never seen anything like it. When the chest-popper happened some people fled the theater, haha. Scared the hell out of us all.
This was a great reaction ✌🏽💪🏽💯👍 I love Germany in ww2 they had amazing uniforms and my favorite is the German paratroopers called fallschirmjagars 🇩🇪❤️ My favorite ww2 movie is generation war
Hello, again, R&G. Just a little tidbit of information for you. The town Rockwell is named for the famous artist Norman Rockwell, whose work depicted a more innocent time in American history. Which also serves as the backdrop of this movie as he lived in New England.
Hello, R&G. This movie is an animated classic. Brad Bird produced this modern gem during the height of Disney's Renaissance of movies like, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Pocohantas, The Lion King, Alladin, Hercules, and Tarzan, to name their string of hits. Which made The Iron Giant a kind of novelty. Bird would later produce The Incredibles, which went on to win the Academy Award for best animation. I saw in the comments that another favorite movie of mine was mentioned. Do react to THE SECRET OF N.I.M.H. if you like a little darker story with a well-drawn story and characters. I'm giving your channel a look to decide on whether to subscribe. So far, I like what I see. Keep going and enjoy the movies.
Seeing this again, I have thought about it and have some questions. How did Weyland Yutani know about the Alien and what it could do and how hostile it was? Had they already experimented with people to see what would happen? As far as the movie suggests, Kane was the first to discover them in their first stage. How would Weylan Yutani know they were extremely dangerous and hostile and that they gestate in a living host? The second movie also suggests the company didn't know about the Aliens as they sent a colony of humans on LV 426 to set up a life there. Of course, it's quite possible the writers of the movie just didn't bother thinking of such questions and nobody is particularly bothered about it, but it does leave some interesting holes in the story.
If you want to see a true documentary on Desmond Doss watch the conscientious objector and there are interviews with the men he served with and with Desmond throughout the whole documentary, it's really good.
An absolute masterpiece… after the fame of ET and Star Wars in the ‘70’s… this is not a brilliant film about horror… but a brilliant film of building character suspense. I lived it. Brilliant film, ahead of its time. Thx
I saw this back in 1979. I was 11. My dad took me. It's impossible to describe how absolutely terrorfying this movie was in pitch black movie theater with an audience that had NO idea what the movie was about or what was going to happen. The chestburster scene was shocking.
What do we know about this movie? We know it couldn't have been Ryan's flashback in the opening scene because the 101st never landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day. We know there was no such bunker where the Rangers landed and contrary to what Capt Miller said, there were DD tanks that made it ashore on D+1. We know the MG 42 doesn't have the energy to kill people under the water, especially at that range. And we know it was absolutely foolish to frontally attack an MG 42 when you have a sniper in Jackson, that has excellent field of vision and concealment
Like a lot of other older movies, Alien is all about show don't tell. Almost all the questions you guys are asking are answered pretty quickly after the scene your watching.
A part that they don't show is that Desmond was in the 77th. A new experimental infantry division that the US created to find out how resilient older men are in combat, because they feared they would run out of young men during WW2. They had some men in their 50s in the division. But what they found is that they were more mature and resourceful given they had a bit more life experience and they ended up being extremely effective in combat. So much so that US Marines called them "Marines" - which is probably the highest compliment the Marines could say about Army 😂 They also...didn't take many prisoners and so at the end of the war, Japanese holdouts would not surrender until another unit came along.
You don't know the horrors of war if you haven't read about the siege of Stalingrad. Where 2 million Nazis and even more Soviet soldiers died. From bullets, hunger, wounds, frostbite...
I am English like you but I usually watch these reactions by Americans but today I watched you for the first time. Your reactions were respectful and interesting and I enjoyed it but please find some time to read up a bit more on our history. You will benefit I'm sure.
That's ok she's never had any interest in the movie. Hahaha I have never watched Forrest Gump, Harry Potter nor The Lion King. Haha. Game of thrones? Friends? Not a single episode haha
That was a beautiful reaction. You two are great! There is no douubt you should watch "Aliens" which is the 2nd film in the series. Aliens was made by James Cameron, the same director who created Terminator (with Arnold), Titanic and all the Avatar films more recently. I like all the Alien films and to me it makes sense to watch them in the order they came out.
I think ultimately Alastor is a character controlled by his Insecurity, mainly his insecurity about his own power. It's clear that He HATES not being in control, every time he is reminded of the fact he isn't the one in control, he lashes out, with Lucifer in ep. 5, Husk in ep. 5 and then Adam in ep. 8. So i think he is competing with Lucifer as a way to exert some small amount of control over him, as he can't do so physically, so instead he has to just screw with him.
The fact tht every single rifle tht was aimed to shoot desmond dead all jammed or malfunctioned. Yes he sustained injury, though he continued on. He gave his stretcher to another soldier and even saved a few more before he was brought down. Teuly a legend. Truly a holy man. Truly blessed. RIP Desmond Doss, you may be gone, but you will forever go down in history as a genuine and complete human. The most human human there ever was.
Crying with you guys , one of my fav true heroic movie💯❤️ try to react MIRACLE IN CELL NO.7 (korean movie) its comedy drama 😍 Crying with you again guys🙏 also i dont skip ads 💛
I was grounded as a teen so missed the first Top Gun when it came out in the theatres. As a military brat, it’s been one of my favorite movies over the last 30 years. I was nervous about a sequel. But, I ended up seeing TGM many times in the theater - partially to make up for my sad teen years, but also because it was an amazing film. I truly enjoyed watching this reaction video with you. 💜
Well, you two did a great job reacting to this Film. But first, hats off to Spielberg directing this masterpiece and to Hanks as well. Also to the supporting cast. So, I've watched a couple of reactions from you guys and always a splendid job. You deserve a reward and a standing ovation. Also, you two deserve a lot more subscribers. Thanks a lot. 😎👍💙🇺🇲🇬🇧
There were two families with a somewhat similar situation to this film-the Niland brothers and the Sullivan brothers. This film is fictional but draws from the circumstances and emotions of both those families. Regulations affecting families in these circumstances was changed during WW2, but changed again after the war ended.
Va Country farm boy. My grandfather is 95. In the 90s i met Desmond Doss. I was a kid and it was at a American Legion. He ate a salad and talked about how proud he was of the country and young people. I didnt know it at the time (what kid would?) As i got older he really was one of the nicest people i have ever met
Could you guys react to Spielbergs other 90s film based on a true story SCHINDLERS LIST it is a masterpiece whilst heartbreakingly sad it is a part of history we must never forget!!
Fun fact the actor who plays Dr Hammond is actually Richard Attenborough, thats right DAVID ATTENBOROUGHS brother!!! Hes passed away now but how cool is that!!
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought "this guy cried watching Maverick, he will cry for sure watching this one ." Hahaha. Well, same happened to me. Nice reaction. You guys are cool.
