I think another good change would be to enable better scaling of the car itself, because when I go to do so the car body doesn't scale properly, along with the fact that if you scale it too much, that the wheels clip through the car when you rig it. It would also be nice to be able to more easily add your own vehicles to it (if there is I can't find it). It would also be nice if possible that it doesn't require collisions to get it going (again don't know if it's possible, but it would be a nice update). But overall it's really cool!
at 7:15 or so i cannot get mine to match this. my steering cylinder isn't attached to the tire cylinder like the one in the video and it doesn't steer when i change the values. changing the orientation of the constraint didn't fix it. Can anyone please help me?
How well does this addon handle full jumps? I am looking for a car physics system where you simply draw a path and the car physics will figure out any inclines or ramps it runs across.
probably one of the more over-played addons. Certainly not what a Pro would use. Lots of shiny bells and whistles that wind up being impractical to use... its better just to use standard tools and do it yourself or start with the "Rig a Car" addon and go from there. This is WAYYYY tf overpriced for what you actually get AND what you have to deal with in order to use this on a live project.
Hey guyz! I have a huge problem. The car can move as I want, but the ground what I attached to the addon not showin in my render. Somebody please can help?
Super nice Addon!!!!! One question: How can i resize the car with armature? i want to make it much bigger in the scene...but when i try to scale the car it breaks the armature...please help
Hi, Can I use this tool to move an object up, down, left and right with the left stick and use the right stick to rotate the object?. Or this tool is just for car rigs? Thank you.
This is the coolest shit! One thing I noticed (I'm new to blender physics) is that you seem to use "generic constraint" for all of this. Very interesting! I've been playing around with all the others so far but the generic seems to do all that hinge, slider etc can do?
