Hi Ashley “ Sorry I’m late to your channel…But, Thanks for being here & sharing…Question…does the redemption period start the day of the sheriffs sale or the day it’s recorded at the country register of deeds…Thanks in advance…
The banks are hiding their insolvency issues by NOT foreclosing on homeowners. I feel that if they WERE we would not be seeing shortages and ridiculous price gouging by sellers.
I live in Prosperity, SC. Zillow stats for the last 30 days in zip code 29127 = 8 properties on the market and 7 properties sold. Out of the 7 sold properties there are 2 houses, 1 trailer, and 4 lots. We originally purchased a property in Irmo, SC 29063 in December 2016 for $224,900 and sold FSBO in October 2020 in 2 days we had a contract for $275,000 (it appraised for $265,000 and the buyer came out of pocket cash $5,000, so we sold it for $270,000). This same property has sold once since then in January 2022 for $310,000 (realtor called the owner and they sold it, never even went on the market!) and is now on the market again. Listed on June 10, 2024 for $425,000. The price has been lowered 4 times in the last 32 days (June 18 $419,00, June 20 $414,900, June 24 $399,900 and July 10 $374,900). What does that tell you! Someone is desperate to move? Someone lost a job? In the 29063 zip Zillow stats are 56 properties on the market in the last 30 days and 8 of those have already lowered their price. That is nearly 15% of properties lowing their price in less than 30 days. Homes in this zip used to sell in 1 to 5 days for asking price or above! I do believe that only the people who have been in their houses for 20 to 25 years or more are the only ones able to sell and buy right now.
They're holding back the giant foreclosure turd so that it lands right on Trump's lap in January. I'm guessing he will extend and pretend too because of his ego. Lots of people will he living for free for a long time, which is basically a huge stimulus check creating inflation for the rest of us.
