For those confused by the 60+ Gold Get, it's a bug in the game that's being exploited. The 6 in the first digit is a symptom of the Z80 carry flag being accidentally set before a DAA instruction which calculates the amount of gold to add. This isn't an intended feature.
I can't say for certain, since I don't have a reference against the actual arcade board. The music tempo here is slower than the PS2 version, but this could be accounted for by the difference in display refresh rate - the PS2's is faster. More likely it is just incomplete/inaccurate emulation in MAME.
@@benspurlock2554I actually won a couple of days ago through some lucky spawns near the stairwell on the final floors, along with 2 airslash scrolls amd a dragon herb on the final boss. I've gone on to Shiren 5.
@@0memega Nice. I went in with three airslash scrolls and a mamel meat and that did the trick. Since then I beat Torneko and Shiren 2, and I'm working on Asuka Kenzan, but it's harder than I expected lol. Definitely check out Fei's Final Puzzle if you get the chance, its insane.
One of the greatest games of all time, I don't trust replays like this because of save states on MAME, but This is one of the greatest games of all time.
Some interview I never read says killer7 meant to have more chapters than the final draft, which I’ve naturally assumed included both more rendered and animated cutscenes. :3
