My problem with shadow fall is if it’s a stealth game why am I ambushed randomly? I like the weightiness of Killzone 2 it’s great and I wish they stuck to that.
Roxas is my favorite character in Kingdom Hearts, I was sad when his part of the story was over I wish there was an option that you could keep playing as him
Because i cannot be bothered to go into this any more concerning Ratchet's personality and design decline I will simply say this to get my point across....... I envy all those that ended their Ratchet and Clank journey at Gladiator/Deadlocked. Your memory of Ratchet is what I wished I still had..... 😢
If developers have to add markers to make sure "players don't miss content" internally means they've already failed. Exploration is a cornerstone of open ended games, if you need players to know where to go, you express that through the world's characters, events, dialogue, etc. Not a UI.
At first, Ascension was a game I only picked up because I wanted to collect every GoW (aside from the Norse titles, since I genuinely cannot bring myself to enjoy them at all) but I was surprised when I finished it and realised I would probably put it in my top three, with the second and third games. The Uncharted climbing was a disappointment to me, but otherwise it might be my favourite GoW gameplay-wise. Not quite my overall favourite, something about the story just completely failed to grip me in a way that only the Norse games managed in the past, but easily my favourite to play.
I can easily see why. Tools does some things better than ACiT. Tools has a better OST, overall better visuals (save the pre-rendered cutscenes of A Crack in Time), funnier comedy, Ratchet feels a lot more like his PS2 interpretation, more consistent and better paced gameplay, and overall, felt like a very traditional Ratchet game in its core. I still slightly prefer A Crack in Time (better story, better villains/characters, much better world-building, better weapons, and better executed new ideas like the space travel thing), but I can easily understand why someone would value Tools more.
Man, another awesome video in the bag, Gaming Brit. It's aged graphics sure are what you notice first, and while really not living up to the potential it has, it sure looks like a great diversion (and yes, fantastic multiplayer) of a Metroid game.
God almighty Gaming Brit, what powerful arguments you make. I actually have never played Samus Returns yet, but have played AM2R, and what a shame that from what I've seen, Samus Returns sure missed the mark that AM2R masterfully struck. At least it, and Returns, are out there.
Firstly, this comment section slightly restored my faith in reality. Secondly, what even is this video? Who is this for? Like I can understand disliking Nights especially as a Nights fan myself, it can be hard to get into and it has a certain learning curve to it. It's fine that you don't like it. But your criticism shows that you just don't understand the core of Nights despite having played it yourself, it also shows how little research you did for this "comparison". You're comparing an experimental arcade flight game on the Sega Saturn to a 2.5D Platformer on the PS1. Aside from the theme of dreams, they have absolutely nothing in common. Both are great and have their strengths and weaknesses and honestly you didn't even need to mention Nights to praise Klonoa. Why did you even bring them up in the first place?
6:55 You must know Blue Shell like "ultra" weapons as you call them are a necessary evil in racing games with combat such as this. Without them, the game's own mechanics naturally let a leader sore completely uninterrupted for the entirety of the race as everyone else keeps pulling each other back through their own items.
I just finished kingdom hearts 2 today for the first time ever, roxas’ segment was basically the whole game to me as an 8 year old. I remember being lost and just skate around without a clue on what i had to do
Wow. I played my first ratchet and clank In 2021 with the 2016 version and enjoyed it a lot for the gameplay and just recently finished rift apart. I had NO IDEA It wasn't a 1 to 1. That's so upsetting
Also, Nero gets one of the best moments in the series in DMC V during his fight with Vergil. The sad strings are playing, the game is at its most melodramatic, and if it's your first time playing it, Vergil is probably kicking your ass. The player might be a little frustrated at having to re-do the same fight they just struggled with as Dante... which is why Nero yelling "FUCK YOU" as he unveils his Devil Trigger for the first time is so satisfying. His theme literally starts playing over the violins and it's clear that this is not only Nero's moment, but your moment as a player.
I remember getting Klonoa 2 and Dynasty Warriors 3 for Christmas as a 7 year old in 2001 when I lived in NYC. The music from Klonoa provided a good escape from reality. Still my absolute favorite soundtrack.
All this because Treasure decided to comprise nearly all of Wario's voicelines from re-used recording sessions from Mario Golf, Mario Tennis and Wario Land 4/WarioWare Inc. And yet it all still works ❤️
this what seperates the games after 4. James came to silent hill and was lured to go there not forced like in the crappy games that try to tell us the town is a living being. he was warned and didn't care. u get the impression James is alone and just going thru he knows it sounds crazy that Mary could still be alive even though he witness her death but at anytime he could of left before entering silent hill. James - hope heather - revenge harry - love henry - was force into but he wasn't in silent hill
