Solar and energy-saving gadgets and home projects! 🌞
Hi, I'm Alex. Since 2020, I've been tinkering around with ways to use DIY solar setups and solar and energy-saving gadgets to power my home and devices. These videos cover my experiments to save money on my power bill, become more energy independent, and use more renewable energy.
Can you pm me with a £1000 240ah 12v camper’s system including solar but not the panels. Also Can you pm me with a £1000 240ah 24v camper’s system including solar but not the panels. Both gotta power standard camper full time living
HOBOTECH just did a great video series about how voltage, amperage, and wattage all work. I'd highly recommend watching them and then reposting the video. You can even see his picture by your hand at 4:50 (right when you get wrong how amperage works). After that, I'd also recommend watching some videos on over-paneling (I live in Washington and it's pretty much a necessity).
I want to make a solar powered security light, that is either motion activated or only goes on at night. Right now I’m keeping a porch light on 24 hours at a property where I don’t live, and that is a waste of electricity and money.
I can't afford anything bigger than 100Ah and I don't think it will be enough. Mostly because I have a cpap machine. Maybe its time to look into surgery to fix my sleep apnea (I have large mandibular tori that is causing it).
"Your electricity bill is projected to be $32." As you can see my electric bill is usually like this from may thru sept but is higher in cold weather due to the Heater blower motor to keep my home warm~ I bought 2 HF panels and a Anker 535 powerhouse~ so if my electric goes down I can unplug from the grid and run all the electric I need and might keep it off if I can work it out~ I live in a park model travel trailer 40' by 12' and use a very small fridge~ I'm a veggie man 72 years old so I don't eat much so don't need much of a fridge but might give a small A/C unit I have in a storage unit since my dog likes the cooler air~ I look forward to hooking it up~ My use last week according to Evergy here in Kansas was 4$ which varies from 10$ a week or lower all summer~
Interesting, I know that solar has improved in the last 30 years but not as much as I would of liked. I would be curious of a hybrid solar and vertical wind mill system. I am sure if everyone used a bit of solar it would help. The cost of going solar in Canada is about 25 k and I would estimate it would take 19 years to recover the cost. By 19 year most if not all components would need to be replaced. Things have improved but we are still a ways off
Concise, easy and straight to the point. No unnecessary talking points and your video description perfectly described your video I wish more people would do this! Keep up the good work
There's no way Aussies could get all that for $100. Australia pay the highest price in the world for everything, let alone the conversion from AUD to USD- we get slugged through the a§§. I visited America last year, converted $30,000 AUD, & got $21,660. Totally ripped off-lost over $8,000 from the conversion. Talk about discouraging us from visiting & buying from America.
Thanks for that. I think the real test, using your methods, is to put them out for the day, and see what total power generated is. If you can demonstrate 7% or so with just white backdrop, that is significant....and simple to implement.
