Hi, I’m Arna - a classical violinist, nature bather, and coziness expert.

I'm also a passionate Plant Mom, I love all things 'Hygge', and - as an INFJ - I just love nothing more than to "go deep" about life's mysteries haha!
I started this channel many moons ago as a beauty channel, and have LOVED my time creating content around makeup, skincare, and the like!
However, as I've drawn closer to turning 30, I'm feeling more and more drawn to shifting my content towards lifestyle content that is more in line with the woman I have grown to become.
Of course, I still LOVE all my beauty bits, so you'll still see all my favourite products popping up in my videos and vlogs, but beauty content has become just one facet of my overall lifestyle content.
Yasss, thanks for this girl! I mostly buy all of my colors from drugstores, and Walmarts as well. This is due to them being cheaper. Which drugstores or store did you get these from? It’s cuz I get mine from CVs, and Walgreens.
Thanks for the great video. My daughter is a violist. She started playing at 11. I live 8 hours from her. She is married, has a toddler, a dog. She is not regular orchestra member now, but has a studio in her home and has a waiting list of students. She is in a big enough city that she stays busy with church concerts and just finished an opera job. In the past, she was in a quartet. For now Mom duties are taking her time. Her husband does help her a lot and he works full time. Oh and she is a part- time realtor. Thanks for the behinds the scene’s life.❤️ A Mom of a professional musician.
I just found your channel and it's changed my life! I'm not good at makeup but I tried Maybelline fit me based on your list and for only 12 dollars, my skin looks better than ever and I'm sure your higher end suggestions are even better. Your face looks stunning and flawless yet natural.
This dermacol 208 is wrong. That shade is super fair. I'm using it and this is my perfect shade. That shade looks like 210 or darker. It cant be that shade. Next one to suppose to be dermacol looks like dermacol 208
Ms. Arna, I know you probably won't read this comment (but if you do, I miss your videos!!) but it really doesn't matter if your base products have SPF in them because its a scam... the amount you would need to apply to get even the most miniscule benefits from the products would have you looking like a literal clown. We're talking 12 pumps of an average sized, 30ml bottle of foundation. So many professionals have done videos warning people about this (particularly Wayne Goss and Lab Muffin Beauty Science aka Michele, beauty chemist). So, go ahead and buy whatever products you want and don't bother with the SPF in them because either way, its ZERO. As long as you're using AN ACTUAL SPF, which you are, then you're covered. I'd be more concerned about reapplying. There are now SPF sticks that you can get, over the counter. They work over makeup!! 👍🏻
I miss Marc Jacobs cosmetics too. I don't usually splurge on big brands, except for MAC, but I loved Marc Jacobs' selection. Yes the packaging was voluminous!
I am very pale with natural black hair. It's so hard to find a red lipstick that looks good on me. It's ever rarer to find a tutorial with for pale skin. Thank yoooooouuuuuu!
Could you please tell me which one is the lightest shade of the dermacol foundation, 207 or 208? I' am quite confused. Thank you. I just saw your video.
208. I'm using super tiny amount of it to make my skin blank canvas (acne, acne scars, rosacea here) and then any foundation you have and it looks great. People saying that it makes you breakout but I never had issues with it. Maybe because I'm using just tiny bit not a lot. I bought it 4 years ago and I'm just in the middle of it. Ps squeeze tube slightly or you will get a bunch of product you will have to put in container.
I have the same skin tone as you do, and also use shade 21 in Purito. Lisa Eldridge shade 5 works beautifully for me. Love this foundation so much. I feel like it looks better as the day goes on.
Yes please w your pale cool skin tone very helpful (tho a pain for you sorry) if you were to try them on. Regardless this is a great vid & thank you for all the recommendations!
The weirdest part about doing a live professional audition is: You aren't going to be even 60% ready, even when you think you have your excerpt 100% in a practice setting. When you have to play against your nerves, even the least overwhelming excerpt becomes the hardest excerpt.
