Hello friends and Thank You for tunning to my channel. My video’s general objectives are to demonstrate in simple terms the process I follow to solve technical and mechanical malfunctions. I strive to make them concise, to the point and without additional distractions. On occasions, I may post a video to relax the viewer. If you happen to like or enjoy any of them please subscribe and give me a thumbs up. May you have a wonderful day.
I watched this vid bc I was curious if your coil boots stuck like mine did. I pulled them out in pieces with long needle nose pliers. I didn’t use dielectric grease last time I did the plugs. Oh well, with 192k I’m thinking this will be the last change out. I ordered new coils w the boots for $40 on eBay so now everything is new.
Great video so thank you! Would you or any one happen to have a ignition coil replacement link? Lots of cheapies on Amazon with some reviews mentioning failure after a few months.
Best video. Step by step for the mechanically challenged. Very well edited. Thanks for making this an enjoyable procedure. My 09 with 126,000 rides again.
I fixed my controller, but the effort and frustration were not worth it. For this particular chair, I am posting a link to the controller I purchased (as of 08/03/2024, $12.99 at Amazon).
Thank you for the video. I'm tired of having to slide up under the deck to change the blades but have been scared to remove the deck for fear of not being able to re-attach it properly. Cute pup!
Same comment as the last L35 video- good job. I am sure you make it look easier than it is, though still it is a pretty simple job, once you see it demonstrated. Thanks again.
I agree with the other comments, a clear and concise demonstration. I have an L48, which I assume is very similar. I have all the tools available for this job, except a good set of snap ring pliers. I will definitely have to up my game in that regard. Thanks again.
Unlike most older vehicles, the 2012 Cube's fuel filter is an integral part of the fuel pump assembly. In theory, it will last as long as the pump. Nissan doesn't sell a standalone replacement filter, but aftermarket manufacturers do for some cars. Alternatively, some aftermarket manufacturers have you bypass the original filter and you then splice their filter into the external fuel lines. Unfortunately, that still requires you to access the internals of the gas tank. Before you invest that time, you might want to consider your current fuel pump's health. Are you in the habit of running the car low on gas? That starves the pump of gas that cools and lubricates it. If your pump has been subject to such abuse, I'd consider replacing the pump and filter assembly together if you are having a fuel problem. If not, there is no routine maintenance to be done. BTW, driving with a near-empty tank is not only bad for your fuel pump, but it is also risky in emergencies. Be prepared and fill up!
Incredible video. Followed each step and car is back up and running perfectly. Great details in the video as well as letting us know what tools we need. 10/10 thank you!!!
I purchased the PMD replacement (FSD Heat-Sync Kit) from Accurate Diesel on May 10, 2022. In all fairness to the manufacturer and distributor, I have not driven and used the truck often enough to formulate an opinion, but it has been on my mind all along. As of today, it has not failed to start. I purchased a spare from Amazon (Fuel Pump Driver Module PMD + Relocation Kit Compatible with Chevrolet GMC 6.5L Diesel for Chevy Turbo Diesel Injection 12562836) which I installed and tested for operation. I haven't had any issues as of yet.
