With all my respect and only from a place of willing to learn and know more. My first question was "why do you wear it?" I have plenty of friends who are Muslim and take ownership of their faith but not wear a hijab, some others do. I read here: we do it because Allah says so and he has the ultimate truth. So my next question is: Why does Allah wants you to wear hijab? Which are the commandments? I am really interested in knowing, truly from a place of love ❤
Thank you! I wanted to connect to my spiritual self more in my religion (Wiccan) and the Hijab looks to work with what I'm looking for! My partner was quite concerned so I'm making sure I do my research before buying my first Hijab
Purchase a copy of Color Me Beautiful. I have abided my colors (I am a "Summer") for decades and it has kept me from wearing colors that don't suit me.
Mashallah sister, it's too big of a risk because we can't be 100 percent sure of how breathable it is. It's not worth risking our prayers for. Watch mukti men's video on this topic too, he too explained it well.
Its just a scarf. Women used to wear them in the sixties when they had their rollers in- see Ena Sharples coronation st in the 70s and of course hilda ogden and norah batty- all dyed in the wool scarf wearers.
I'm a Christian and I feel in my heart to be more reserved, I remember my grandmother covering her hair with a scarf every time she left the house and she was Catholic. As a child, I thought it was very different here, today I understand that women have always covered their hair throughout history.
I was born to a family with no particular religion, but I practice/follow Judaism. I just feel very uncomfortable showing off my skin and hair out in public, so I may do this. However, I’m 14 years old and in 8th grade, so now I’m also afraid of my peers making fun of me and judging. Help meeeee!!!
Hi! Please no hate, So I’ve been thinking about wearing a hijab, though I am gender fluid and have no religion currently. And I wouldn’t wear it every day, just when I protection. I think women how wear hijabs are beautiful! Please help.😊
My dear I just wanted to tell you to wear a hijab cap I am being offensive to u but just telling you didnt know we should hide our hair properly ofc mistakes are made by humans but correcting them is necessary my dear
Mecca is a city, the black cuboid structure is what we call kaaba, it was the first house of worship and was rebuilt by Abraham and his son Ishmael may peace be upon them both.
They probably just accept it cause they’re in a Muslim country. That’s how I feel when I see a bible in hotel rooms. America is a predominantly Christian country founded on Christian values so it makes sense and honestly faith is what we all need right now so y’know 😊 where you from?
@@hautehijab oh! I had no idea that there are bibles in American hotel room! (There was none in my room when I visited NY. It was Hilton I think by the UN). I live in London and have never come across bible whilst travelling in Europe of within the UK! I will definitely keep my eyes peeled next time.
I am agnostic, and I enjoy covering my head during the winter. It is very cold where I live in the winter, so I wrap it over my head, ears, and neck. I also like the way it looks and makes me feel beautiful and feminine.
I need some advice. For probably a year now I've been interested in Islam and wearing a hijab, but especially recently. I tried on a scarf in the style of a hijab and I felt so beautiful. I love the idea of dressing modestly, and I do. But my passion has always been dance. I literally could not live without dance, but from my understanding dance is haram. And it's also just terrifying to explain reverting to my family and friends, especially because I am still in school, meaning I would have to explain to a lottt of people. Everyone always says "do whatever you want" and "just be yourself, it doesnt matter what they think" but it's so difficult. I also live in the US which isnt predominantly Muslim. Please help :(
