I watched all four of your videos. My goodness. You did an amazing job. I was 12 in 1984. It was at a time of great positive events in my life. I was instantly inspired and hooked. I have been and always will be a purist from that beginning. I greatly appreciated your in depth reviews of all of the series and video games. I knew of them but didn’t know anything about the stories or characters. It was an awesome history lesson for me. As for the live-action movies, I was with you and fans all the way from love to hate to meh and back again. I think the last two are a “reboot” and it’s needed. I liked your tips of what may be next. I’ll be off to my first BotCon in a couple weeks. Even though I’m a caricature of an old-timer like Kup in my passion of the old days, I feel a bit more on even ground with the young bots I’ll run into. Thank you for this incredible documentary.
This is why I don't think I can do film... Actually making the movie no doubt would be awesome ... But dealing with the suit's and the lawyer's and the greed... That's not something I'm equipped to deal with... I'd just end up in prison for assault
Gotta be honest… been really enjoying Halo 5 multiplayer lately. I know there’s quite a few complaints about it but I’m having fun on it. This was a fascinating video learning about all this context in between games.
The Hobbit movies were a joke and an insult to the legacy of Tolkien. It would have been much better if greed was left aside and this travesty were never made. Bad enough they butchered the story arc of Lord of the Rings with Meta-Workshops saving their asses. Peter Jackson IS Saruman.
I think multiverse of madness was far different from the other marvel movies with that one scene where mr fantastic captain Brian black bolt professor x All die that felt to far for marvel
I mean to me the Talia Al-Ghoul being main villain and Bane being basically the face of the main made sense to me. I actually remember laughing when I first found out he was the main villain, “like who cares about Bane?” Because from what I remember when seeing Bane featured in lots of Batman projects, he was usually just used as muscle for another big baddie. Which when you think about it here in TDKR, it’s essentially the same theme just in an elaborate ruse.
1:19:25 I feel that Ruffalo did it right. Everybody didn't die, it put an intrigue on who will/would and the fact that he said it this way was too Funny 😂
I feel like Chang was probably the worst written character on TV and considering that this was still amazing despite his poor character really shows how much work was put into the rest of the show
ah yes, transformers. Im not sure if it was 2012 or 2014 but man,Transformers prime did change my life. Is one of the many reasons why I studied animation! now im on my last year, and i hope to write or work on a peak show just like this one!
I honestly think The Dark Knight has way more plot holes and bits of total unbelievability, but they’re superhero Hollywood blockbusters, who cares. The Dark Knight Rises was fantastic and as strong the first two, but everyone fangirled so hard over TDK that it could never live up to their expectations
As someone who loves all kinds of Star Wars content regardless of who made them, I wish you good luck on that Star Wars retrospective remake. And also good luck on dealing with the inevitable arrival of those who take the franchise way too seriously for their own good. There is no one who hates Star Wars quite as much as Star Wars fans, after all.
Man, thank you so much for this AWESOME video! I'm a huge Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit fan, and I love long analysis RU-vid videos about my favorite things. It helped me get through a big painting session for a project I was nervous about starting, making the experience enjoyable. When I pick up the painting again tomorrow, I will watch your The Hobbit retrospective video!!
If i see another game implying it was influenced by BOTW just because its open world i may just lose it. It was not the first or even the best to do it. That rhetoric really baffles me.
I think Dark Knight Rises is a pretty good finaly but I really would've liked to have seen Harvey Dent in the Dark Knight and then Two-Face in the third movie
I don't understand the hate for 4, 5 and 6. I love all of them. I never really played games for the story. I play to play the game and I think each one is a blast to play. Any complaints beyond that is ridiculous
Let me say something many people probably won't agree with. The thing is I never understood the ending of the The Dark Knight. In how far is it a moral question to blow up the other ship? It is a moral question if you do it for much money or for saving only one person you love. But they get forced to blow up the others. Like when they do not do it they definitly would die, because either the other ship or Joker would blow them up. So in how far is it a moral question to blow up the others? Why should you sacrifise yourself for strangers? I would just blow up the others immediately before they can. Very simple. It is still the Joker who killed them and not me, because he forced me. Maybe I am just weird but I always thought in the face of death you have to well... try to survive, if you want to live.
I can remember when ppl were hating on Peter Jackson in the beginning! I read the books long before the movies and Watched The Animated Hobbit! I loved P.J. adaptation, thought he did the best he could with how huge the LOTR universe is !! Look at the GARBAGE that Amazon tried to stuff down our throats ! Even the newest trilogie can't hold a candle to the 1st trilogie imo!!
