It was a request from the customer to help them with the vehicle setup. And I believe many people will disagree with the second take :) To each their own of course, but NFS has way too many different physics models, and saying that each one is worse than sims (does sims even have any??!?) is an obvious exaggeration.
@@mikailmaqsood818 At certain moments it does. But I didn't bother with the camera too much. If I did, this would look much better. Camera in a racing game matters a lot for the feels.
I used this one: www.modland.net/beamng.drive-mods/maps/need-for-speed-most-wanted-rockport-with-rosewood-2005.html Ofc, you can't use it in a real commercial project. And there are a lot of issues with materials and textures. It will be very problematic to turn it into an actual map, that's why I didn't even bother trying.
Thanks for your feedback. Have you tried playing with the tires settings? I think I've changed the parameters a bit for this car, and I believe it used to feel better. Though there is also a possibility that car feels so different because the collider is of a different shape. Anyhow, I'll work on improving the physics after that AI update. I think I need a few days more.
@@AXISMotionStudio Hi. I worked on the asset's handling. It is much more responsive now and the WebGL demo has been updated to better showcase different vehicle behaviors. The drifting setup has been updated as well as you can see here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wVjY_JaXj3s.html The link to the Demo: sites.google.com/view/shirepact/demo

It is in the review queue by the unity team currently. The process takes a lot of time. Probably 3-4 weeks, unless there will be some problems found. I just had to publish a video beforehand because I had to fill every bit of information, like marketing videos.
I'm glad to announce that the asset has been released successfully after a very long review process. You can purchase it here with the 30% release discount. assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/physics/custom-vehicle-controller-278027
