My channel initially catered to local bands, but moved on to a variety of videos. If you venture deep into the list of videos, I'm sure you'll find something interesting here.
He was a pioneer of bottle walls. I like it when they are cut and taped end to end so there's a smoother finish. That's a lot of work to go to for a church, but great job to that dude.
I'm sorry, I don't know. From what I've been hearing regarding CD's they are becoming or have become a thing of the past. I still use them though. Maybe take this audio and burn it to a blank cd.
@@c7i6abc Thanks for the reply - I have since located the CD. This RU-vid copy is not that great in quality, perhaps a low bit-rate version, but at least it's stereo!
As a former dj in the U.S. I picked this album up on vacation in N.S. just after it was released. Working the overnight shift, I decided to play two songs one night. The feedback was great, but the boss almost fired me because I stayed from the program directors list . I played other Canadian artists songs that I picked up that were not heard in the states. Finally did get fired from that station and went on to another one. Great to hear this music again !!!!!!
Jack Kio Canadian bands got snubbed by American radio. Canada had Many great garage bands. Very few were able to get US radio play. You got fired for giving the American audience a taste of rock from the Great White North. That took big balls. The radio station would have been better off, keeping you on and letting you have some freedom to do your own thing. The positive feedback would have kept growing. You're my kind of DJ I grew up with the AM radio top fourty format. I started getting into prog rock/album rock in the early 70s because of DJs who dared to go against the format.
Eddie is my second uncle. Spent many years watching him play and sing with my family. May he Rest In Peace. Thank you for posting his music here for all to enjoy.
@@c7i6abc I have all his records and tapes a couple CDs as well. And some old reel to reel family videos. Thank you for posting his music. Uncle Edgar passed away a couple years ago he was such a sweet human being.
@@dennislegere703 C7I6abc was an error that happened when I was trying for the first time to create a RU-vid account and I can't change it. My name is Eric Jollymore, On Facebook I'm Eric A. Jollymore. I posted all the songs my friend had, no wait now, I borrowed her record player, seen in the videos, maybe they are on my record/album. email on youtube used to be very easy, but now it's really difficult to find a way to communicate like we used to, there was an email option under "About" now it's only if we happen to notice someone posted a comment and that can take years in my case, lucky this one was only three weeks old. Dennis, I'd love to hear more about your uncle and his music career. I do remember hearing his songs long ago
You are very welcome. I hope you got to see all of them that I posted, sorry I don't remember how many. Just search youtube for his name There will be another one automatically next Friday and I believe another the following Friday, this is March 9, 2022
Took me years to acquire this album ( vinyl). Ordered it but my buddy got the last one( we ordered at the same time) A relative gave me his copy. I now have it signed by Bob Quinn who told me he didn’t even have a copy. The “Everyday People” Band was also a great band of that era
Fantastic rendition of an original that sounds like a great honky tonk classic. George Jones, Wanda Jackson and Brenda Lee all rolled into a heart as rooted in punk as Johnny Cash.
