It’s fascinating seeing how the old loggers and axe men used to harvest timber so many years ago and still amazing to see such old trees in existence as well. Great vid Phil👌
I bought a used 250L six months ago and rode it through this Canadian summer. Less power than the 300, and really struggled on some uphills with all my gear. The L version has a smaller gas tank, which really limited the range. Otherwise, it's been a cracking bike. I've put about 5000 km on it. I just had the 25000 km service done and the mechanic reported all valves still perfectly in spec, but it was time to replace the chain and sprockets.

Wow Phil, nice ride. They are magnificent Mother trees, they would not cut them down , as u said they were the parent tree, to continue the regrowth. We have great, beautiful areas to visit and enjoy on the MNC, We just need to protect it all, even better to visit on a bike. Thanks for sharing 🇦🇺💯

Yes, like the nice black cows in the video. They looked Prime to me. Gamey huh, you should try scalding & cleaning an alligator snapping turtle. They say it has 7 types of meat & it does but I took one bite & was done. But we used to catch them while fishing for Catfish & this old man loved them so we'd clean them sometimes. Lot of work.... lot & they dull the sharpest blades. Had to ask about the Kangaroo, now I know... lol, thanks mate
Question.....after you left the big tree, going to the creek, I seen a shot of your dash...it was reading 0 klm....is it not working....or it is the slowest wheelie I ever seen to keep the front wheel off the ground long enough for it to stop turning...🤔🤔 😁 Great ride as always....could smell the fry up...mmmmmmm. I was up there a couple of weeks ago on the 650 V Strom. Nice ride. If you take TV track it takes you to the TV tower. If you park in front and go around to the right there's a little path that takes you to the hang glider launch site which has spectacular views all over Taree, Old Bar and as far as the Watagans on a clear day.
North, South and Middle brother ‐ a lot of cultural history, indigenous and otherwise ‐ still got my grandfather's 2 hand saw and a plank to go with it

Thanks for the info mate it was good to hear what you use. I'm also moving away from GoPro but I'm heading towards the Insta 360 Ace Pro as it's better for underwater as I go scuba diving as well. I also have a drone I have the original Mavic Air but I think it's batteries are about to die, as when I use it I can get it off the ground then it says "Battery critically low" and lands itself which is usually a very hard landing. Hey mate! I'd suggest you go straight to the DJI Osmo action 4. BUT!!! Keep in mind that the 5 is expected to come out next month. That usually means even lower prices for outgoing cameras. I too used to have constant issues with the Gopro cameras. I've had the DJI Osmo Action 4 for almost a year now. Not one problem. Stay upright mate 🙂

I like the monitor on the drone, I found my phone would always clip out of the holder on my drone…before it crashed & I lost it somewhere on my property 😂. One of the many reasons why I don’t have a RU-vid channel, unless I themed it it - ‘how to be awkward at everything’ 🤣🤣
I had booked to go to the Fest, but as Agquip is on next week, and I have some ag gear to buy from there, I could not afford to do both, even though it is only $45 for the w.end camping there. Will do it next year.

From what I have seen a fair few people are having problems with the GoPro cameras and are making the switch to either the DJI Osmo or insta360 Ace Pro camera's, those insta360 X3 & X4 camera's with the ability to record and edit in 360 degrees are becoming popular too. I have seen used on various adventure riding vloggers channels. I hope the weather holds up good for all attending the ADV Fest. I know a few people who are heading there, unfortunately I can't make it due to work, but maybe I will get to go next year if the event is on again next year.
Aw mate you are going to love DJI action camera! I used GoPros since hero 1! And had almost all of them, also frustrated with the same reasons you said and change to the action 4 it is night and day! I just got the dji mic 2 transmitter and loved how it connects wireless to the camera! Keep the top quality videos mate love them!
