Nice tour; you'll probably increase the bike traffic; me included, sooner or later - or maybe I'll just enjoy thinking about it! Thanks for taking us along Phil!
Great stuff! I know that area well, as my Grandparents lived in South West Rocks. We spent most of our holidays there and the surrounding area as kids. Such a special place. Watching your vid just makes me want to go back there on my DRZ. Cheers, Grant. 🍻 👍
Another beautiful vid Phil. Looks like you and the “new” DRZ are melding together just fine. I’ve got a couple of weeks off from work in October and the Polmer Camp ground looks like it could be a great home base to explore your neck of the woods. Thanks once more for taking the time to share your journeys and all the work and money that goes into making your top notch vids. Adding your ride map is an added bonus! 👍🏽 PS bought you a few bourbons.
@@MidCoastAdventures If I see you would definitely like to have a chat with ya. Mabey you could act as my "wing man" on my first ride along a beach if you've got the time. My shout at the pub afterwards! You could then make a video of how to teach a newbie beach ridding! 😁
Another cinematic beauty Phil. Looks like the DRZ (that’s zed not zee) lol has worked out well for you. Your winters are better than our summers mate 😂
It won't be as good on the hwy, but will sit on 100 kph totally fine - ideally with a smaller rear sprocket (15 / 43 combo on mine) but everything else is more enjoyable than I remembered from my last DR650 👍
Sure is a horrible old road to the North Shore. Can't believe I've never been to Queens Head Lookout! How was the DRZ on the sand compared to the Rally?
"A full circus" full of clowns😂. I really don't get why people want to get away from the city crowds just to be in another crowd?. Weird. Anyhow, another good video.
Hi hope you enjoy the DRZ, does the bike feel better than the 300 rally in terms of weight and ergonomics ? Have you tried a chest mount for your camera?
Similar bikes but different. The Rally had better ergonomics for longer rides I'd say- but mod the DRZ to what suits your riding position. Both feel light, though the DRZ feels, and is lighter 👍 Chest mount footage is too low for my liking
