It's great, I find myself playing it instead of SC2 direct strike. They continously update the game with more content. Great casual game that is easy to hop in to whenever you get 15-20 minutes.
This is the strategy that the hard mode AI likes to use, and it's soo annoying. With 100000000 flak missiles still get through, but then when he has 1 mg he shoots down all of mine... Forts is great 😅
At 31:44 Armordillo's laser *isn't* actually reflected by a shield. It was Poolboy's laser shooting down the nuke, while Armordillo doorsniped his laser a fraction of a second later with his own laser. Hence: Poolboy took core damage from his own exploding weapon.
"you were so far ahead you were closing in for the kill" Other team still had 100% core while they had lost 1 and were down to 13% on the there other. It's like if Incursus worked for the political media.
I really wish energy shields didn't completely nullify 20mm cannons, it feels really unsatisfying and seems unnecessarily harsh on a weapon that already struggles to find its place.
Incursus carefully explaining the eco and consistency differences between missiles and cannons, and why in the long-term, cattershot's build is subpar Cattershot: Hehe nuke go brrr
How many guy are playing as Pechivo? it ocurred to me at 41:05 that you keep refering to the player as "they". How many ppl are there? I thought it more impressive, I was sure it was one guy...
2:55:00 if that one play had actually succeeded in their aircraft bombing while a player was gone, then they wouldnt have fired their gun, recoil destroying their base. never seen an unsuccessful BM that actually would have saved someone before
i was watching the stream and after seeing how brawl works i decided to give it a try using a similar formation (placing units forwards + mass marksmen). i was playing a match and i got a rly lucky that ended up giving me a ton of points, and after that all other players started to bombard me and i literally got 4 works sent on my back, making it impossible to play at all, but then i remembered someone on the stream talking abt lvling up the towers. in a desperate move i upgrade both of them to lvl 3, and OH BOI THEY GET TANKY! this made my marksmen atk them when they'd surface, and i was finally back in the game. at the last round i ended up clearing the field so well i got around 2k points ahead of everyone, almost reaching 8k point.
... yknow, I was getting somewhat frustrated that game 10 would be another layer cake attrition fest... I mean, technically *that's* a Door snipe at 2:57:07
Trying to figure out how to do that challenge is gonna bug me for the rest of my life now, so far all I could think to try was deleting the sniper to see if it let you rebuild it, which it does not. I don't think I've ever seen a tier 3 sniper and I have no idea how it would work and I can't find one by googling it. I feel like I'm missing something obvious lol. (edit to add, I do know how to tier 3 a cannon now though, which is a nice bonus)
I saw Bruski's group do a t3 sniper once in a video about t4s or something, but... could not tell you when/where precisely. It was not the most effective but they were hitting stuff, just not... well lol.

No spoilers. Yay or Nay change?
I was initially rooting for Cannon, the mortar strat was sloppy but barely made it through which is still a win. But then they went for the same strat again... Knowing full well Up Grade would defend it much better the second round. And i was like, well that's just dumb. If you don't have your mortar strat down to where you can make it work SOLID in the first round, you don't go for it a second time. Doesn't matter that you picked the commander based on your planned strat. I was still thinking that maybe Cannon can make up for the failure in round three. ... And they went mortar strat. GET OUT OF HERE, YOU DO NOT BELONG IN A PRO LEAGUE TOURNAMENT!
I don't think i have ever seen so many nukes being effective as in round 2... And it's not thanks to skill from the baguette munchers. Nukes are too random to be honest. I've seen good teams use them and constantly get random garbage results with them. I've seen bad teams get good results by drunk nukes. But this is taking the fricking price! That being said, baguettes are still doing a pretty damn good job making sure the nukes get across. Not gonna take that away from them. But had it not been for one random nuke getting that one random hit on "I am myself", things would be SO different. And then they kept getting random lucky hits every time the nuke came through. It's ridiculous!
Feck, i am not through round 2 yet and it pisses me off that a team as bad at GYAAT is in a "pro" league. Sure, i myself couldn't beat them but that's because i've never played the game myself. But i can see that any progress they've had is based purely on random. They are just shooting their stuff in random places, trying the same thing over and over until something randomly makes it through. They keep re-firing the same stuff in the same spots without focus or aim. At best, they know how to set up a fire beam shield for nukes. The loss of ALL offensive capabilities wasn't due to Tar being good (though he is really good, don't get me wrong) but only because Butter dog is a massive GOOF. He doesn't deserve having those weapons in the first place. At the same time, i think this map with this commander is bad enough as it is as it basically ensures the round is going to drag on without much advancements. Adding the core swing in there makes it bordering on disqualification in my eyes. The map + commander combo is bad enough as it is. Now it's just no fun at all for anyone. Not the viewer, not the players, not the tournament... It's just exploiting bad mechanics altogether. The game should have ended 30 minutes in and the win (as little as they deserved it) should have been given to GYAAT. Door Snipe should then just use their OBVIOUS offensive advantages in round 3 to decisively end the match.
I feel like this game really scratches an itch ive had recently. I started playing Tarkov this year and since then ive wanted a comprable experience that leans more into a persistant world. I got into Mortal online 2 pretty heavy but this has been a nice game to play while taking a break from MO2. Thanks fkr the video man
