Some other known ASU facts: 1. It is the butt of more college jokes than practically any other US school. 2. Its alumni includes Mary Kay Letourneau, a school teacher who became infamous for having sex with her 12 year old student, when she was 34 and married. She was jailed for over 7 years on statutory rape. 3. Overall, it has a reputation, mostly due to its high acceptance rate and notoriety as a party school. 4. On a much more positive note: another alumni is Pat Tillman. Tillman was a pro-football player (Arizona Cardinals) who left his football career and volunteered with the Army to fight in Afghanistan; he was killed in 2004 while on tour of duty. Tillman graduated summa cum laude from ASU in marketing and the ASU Veterans Center is named in his memory. ASU retired his jersey number and there is a bronze statue of him within Sun Devil Stadium, right by the Tillman Tunnel where the players enter the field

Jolly Holly It's not about where you go to school. It's about how much you get out of it. I have some friends who went to a unranked school got job offers at Google, NASA, Cisco, while I go to a top 30 school and struggling to even get an internship interview. Did I get better grades than them in high school? YES. But what went wrong is really complicated to explain. But the main takeaway is don't let the school you go to define who you are.
