I got the 2017 version. (Motion rn fn) But I did see those and I felt them and I was like "Duam that shit soft". But the shoes I got were retail $150 but I got them for $110 including tax.
+Josh Jelden They are perfect for those purposes. I have used them for the gym for a while and they hold up well. They are very flexible and comfortable however in terms of ruggedness for activities like hiking outside would probably go with a different shoe.
