Welcome to rwg42985 or RWG research. Here you will find a bunch of my work in open source format. Please be open to ideas, things can be as they don't seem. We all are in this together, help and be helped. Learn and be learned, love and be loved! That's the way to be! we also like to show random project that are in the works and some family stuff as well.

If you would like to donate any research funds please send it to the email address: rwg42985@aol.com via Paypal. you can also visit here: rwgresearch.com/donate-to-rwgresearch-com/ All funds will go to open source projects.

Please donate your thoughts and brain power to the projects. Please visit rwgresearch.com/ to post on forms and get more info!

You can always send me a personal email to rwg42985@aol.com

Thanks, and enjoy!

I am a Navy veteran and retired Army 1SG. My MOS was 52E but, for about a year I was a 52D. 52E at that time was a Prime Power Production Specialist…is 12P currently, and work with very large power plants/switch gear, that “are” capable of disaster relief. I did however, work on a lot of 60k’s, 100k, 200k, 500k and 750k generators. Those units are designed for smooth/easier parallel operations. If you didn’t know the rarity of these generators in one aspect is pretty cool… how they designed one MEP for multiple roles. Current transformer block enabling monitoring at the gauges. You can move the connection block to afford your changing output. When I was hired by Detroit Diesel as a field service technician for marine generators, marine propulsion and huge land based generators…North aslope for example, after retirement. The engineers couldn’t believe that one generator end could be both 50/60Hz @ 1500/1800 RPM, or 400Hz precise power. 12 wire enables various connections. The boxes inside opposite the prime mover are for paralleling for the most part. You do not have exterior paralleling equipment. They are not TQG’s and if out in a trouble call for one of these, you can follow the cacophony of noise. Great genset! If anyone finds one with a cactus as a gasket in the fuel filter…that was done at about 0300hrs. in Brady, Tx during a road runner FTX. I find it amazing that the wrench is there (for load connection). Insure that you ‘always’ run with a load of approximately 70%. Hoooooooooah 🫡

My prints are coming out too large and reducing the rod radius number has corrected that, but now holes in the print are smaller than they should (like printing a cube with a cylinder removed from it to store a can in - the hole for that can will be undersized).
