Dang it, I love Trip Machine Luv Mix and Trip Machine Survivor for their songs. Luv Mix has such a groooovy bassline. And Survivor is just insane, which I love..because I'm insane. I don't know. The screech at the beginning of Trip Machine Survivor is just iconic to me.
Fond memories of being one of the first in the UK to clear PSMO, at Las Vegas arcade in London with the DDR cab right in front of a huge street-facing window for maximum audience. I've kinda fallen off of DDR now but I still have the muscle memory for that final stream section that you can do totally alternating without double-stepping with some tricky but not impossible turns and starting almost facing backwards, knowing that it would naturally come back around. 10/10 charting.
It is actually possible to hit 3 pads at once when that occurs, although it can be difficult for players. Certain charts basically require bracketing to maintain combo. The Legend of Maxx Doubles chart on Expert immediately comes to mind. You see this more often in Pump It Up instead because of the locations of the pads.
On one hand I appreciate them putting Paranoia on Gameboy, it' kinda goes hard to be fair. On the other hand, it's synced up about as well as my short 3 hour stint trying to learn to DJ
Paranoia Survivor Max was the absolute pinnacle of DDR songs I remember as a kid seeing some dude doing PSM on Heavy mode, not even Challenge, and I was memorized. He would heavy every song and AA them As a kid, DDR was like the one game my older and I could truly bond over. Whenever we saw DDR Extreme in an arcade, we ran to it IMMEDIATELY Such a good game. Wish it didn't disappear in my area
Even though PARANOiA Evolution is probably my favourite one of all, since it was the first PARANOiA I've ever heard and played back in 2001 (and I still have a lot of fun playing it today), playing PARANOiA Rebirth in the arcade back then was (and still is) a fantastic experience. The steps are so much fun, the song is AMAZING, it made you feel cool, powerful, especially when everyone at the arcade would gather around the DDR machine just to see you, why? because you were actually stomping your damn feet to the beat of a song, and that was extremely cool, unlike what DDR has become nowadays. TL;DR: PARANOiA Rebirth deserved a much much better rank.

Regarding the patch for Supernova, it wasn't through internet connectivity, patch discs were sent to the arcades. The game was really that bad on release.

As discussed, DDR II/Hottest Party 5 on Wii had full version songs, not to mention FIVE 18's AND Valkyrie dimension which is completely unheard on difficulty-wise for a CS title let alone one on the Wii of all things! Anyway as I was saying, one of the 18's, New Decade had an extended version in HP5. Do you know what else has a full version? The big bastard itself, ENDYMION. Yes, ENDYMION, aptly titled ENDYMION (long edit) is an official full version that is OVER 4 MINUTES LONG! Konami could release it as a sort of "end all" or April Fools song locked behind a some unreasonable to get to "No, this is the actual One More Extra Stage... We're serious this time" stage that would eat three credits because why not.
