Restoring The Lost Captain Jack Song In DDR 

Petition for Konami to get the rights and put it in a game

Always cool to see a fellow CJ fan keeping the memory alive. I have been quite a big fan myself. I ran a Captain Jack fansite for about 4 years in the early 2000s. Now I have a RU-vid channel and Facebook group dedicated to fans of their music. Would love to see you on either one of them.

This coming Friday would have been Captain Jack's 59th birthday

One inaccuracy I noticed is the CDtitle as all new Licenses In DDR Extreme received unique CDtitles and it would’ve been more accurate to use a Dancemania EX1 cdtitle instead of a Generic one

The Love Shine chart was pretty good

I wonder if in the DDR Extreme arcade disk is there any code/text/whatever as a reference confirming it too. Dummied out data, anything. There's legit beta songs hidden in 3rd & 4th mixes data too. DDR Max was going to have a LOT more songs even showed the DDR 5th mix beatmania songs on a songwheel pic from the official site. Heck even in my solo 2000 machine on that disk there's dummied out stuff. The DDR Max USA playstation mag demo has hidden stuff in the data too. I found Ain't It Good from beatmania in it too years ago. No telling what Captain Jack stuff could be hidden on any DDR disk. Heck even stuff at like the DDR Extreme test location there was what marvelous in normal play and Crash was a 9. Give It Up was probably cut in favor of bringing back Captain Jack Grandale Remix in Extreme.

I wonder what the thought process was when they had finished the chart but didn't have the song to use. Maybe they were proud of it but they lost the licence to use the song so they slapped it on an entirely unrelated song? If that's the case for this one then what about the other hidden charts?

By the way, set the BPM to 126.97 instead of 127 since that's what ZiV said to be the correct BPM for the chart

Give it Up by Captain Jack is actually a cover of Give It Up by KC & The Sunshine Band. I wonder if that has anything to do with them not getting the rights, assuming that's the reason the song's not in the game.
