Thank you for remembering, and celebrating. We have depended on the State, at various times throughout our history, for our advancement. Such as, for instance, the acquisition of our Mountaintop Campus in 1986... Thank you, Pennsylvania...!
I commend your efforts to end the unjust embargo against the Cuban people. The advances made by Cuba in health care and education alone is worth supporting an end to the Embargo Now!
Thank you Rep. Rozzi for the brave work you’ve done, and thanks to all of those who are with you in that fight. I see Teresa Lancaster from The Keepers behind you there. You speak for at least tens of thousands across the US who have been harmed by clergy abuse. Long overdue for the Catholic Church to tell the truth, release their old records and be transparent with current events. That’s the only way they can move forward; keeping secrets only continues the conspiracy they’ve created. Maryland needs to convene a grand jury to investigate the Archdiocese of Baltimore, glad PIttsburg has done that.
I totally agree. It's about learning other cultures who have set the United States where it is today. If we don't learn other cultures how can we evolve as people. Immigrants have continued to make this country great. We educate our student and the student body about cultural sensitivity. This is about equality for all.
All farms should be subsidized and worked by members of the district where they are located. ie 1 / 8 hour shift for each person per month. No reason people should pay for produce.
I am so grateful to Representative Peter Schweyer, Nancy Wilt, Julie Foley, and everyone else who made this day happen for me. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
Agreed! Let's stop using taxpayer funds for harassment cases. These despicable individuals should pay out of pocket. In the bigger scheme, let's encourage reporting, put victim protection policies in place, and pursue their assailants with the full weight of the law. Keep up the good work, Rep. Kim!
At 4:08 Rep. Krueger-Braneky asks PUC Chair Gladys Brown whether PUC has authority over the siting of Sunoco's hazardous, highly volatile liquids export pipeline marketed as Mariner East 2. Chairman Brown's response: "No, we do not." Rep. Krueger-Braneky then asks who does have this authority. Ms. Brown tries out several different answers before the hearing chair saves her by cutting off questioning. Fact is, no agency approved the Mariner East 2 route, which passes in unsafe proximity to schools, senior living facilities and residential subdivisions. Thank you Rep. Krueger-Braneky for keeping 'em honest.
Meanwhile the rest of the system are just shacks on the side of the track, or stations with nothing but a concrete platform with no shelter at all. why does this station get all the glory for 800 passengers on 25 trains a day?
Hello all, I will start with PSATS, Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors, "PSATS" director testified in opposition to HB 1082 (PN 1392) last week. He believes OSHA Standards would be very costly for local government and does not believe there is a worker safety problem in local government. I don't know, but I must wonder if he has ever worked in industry or construction. I do not believe he understands that OSHA is not a bad word or some entity looking to make money or harass employers. OSHA helps to make sure people are educated, to prevent accidents, injury, and even death, so that employees leave work, safe and healthy every day. Non educated employees, can be very costly if they have an accident at work. They can accumulate huge medical bills, leaves of absence, lawsuits, and death. Accidents and poor work habits can happen just as easily to public employees. They are not exempt from unsafe and dangerous work habits. I certainly do not understand some people's logic when it comes to work place safety and safety education. In the private industry and construction, insurance companies consider vendors with a high workers compensation rate, a high risk and if so, your company may have a hard time finding affordable insurance. Many large companies and utility companies have a policy to not except bids from contractors if their workers comp rate is too high, even if they were low bidder. It does not make sense to me that government workers do not need to be educated in safe work practices. I am a OSHA instructor for construction. I do this because I have been a 35 year roofer and have witnessed some very dangerous acts just because people did not have training. The biggest part of OSHA is common sense and education. Nobody should be injured on the job, or worse, just because they did not know any better. Thank You, Jack Lee.
Thank you so much to State Representative, Jason Dawkins for working very diligently to over see that all goes well when problem solving with the constituents issues.
the Problem is.. they fail to understand, you can NOT force a person to get clean. If it is not something they want to do or is ready to do. Hell will freeze over before the do it. So. These states will simply go bankrupt trying to defy human nature.
As an Australian who supports these Bills, I am just wondering what happened with the voting on November 7th? Thank you for all that you're doing (Pa.State Rep. Jason Dawkins) to get these Bills passed, and giving all deserving lifer's in PA the second chance they all deserve.
