what do you think about taramp big boss amp is it good? Iwant to buy the big boss 5k but ididnt used this amp before i just used Deaf bounce amps and subwoofers
@RealRaw8 Yes i currently have (4) Sundown SCV7500s in my personal build. Imho i can hear the difference on the lower bass notes for sure. It just sounds cleaner. Now on rebassed music not so much.
Pro tip, clean the basket before mounting on motor and always get a popsicle stick/ that will fit in the gap and put tape/ sticky side out and insert in the gap then blow out with air then tape the gap. And for the love of God when regluing the cone/ spider put glue smooth and flush/ coat basket 100% #WorkSmarterNotHarder
Great video. Only question I have is what if I have to reuse the cone and surround but replace the voice coil. Is there a different process to figure out what voice coil is needed when the sub doesn't have a ready-kit available? Thanks for all information.
I would recommend people to use a few sheets of printer paper, not cardboard. the first time I did a recone, I used cereal box cardboard and a chunk tore off at the corner and trashed my new cone. I didn't catch it. but I had to use vice grips to get the shims out anyways. wouldn't recommend cardboard.
Question I thought the capacitor is always on the positive terminal not the negative why does that Tweeter have the capacitor hooked up on the negative side?
I m from Luxemburg, I bought 2 sundowns X-18 v.3. I want to buy some recones but somehow there is no way to get them in Europe. I tried to contact sundown directly but they never responded to me... And from where I got the subs, they don't have them. Maybe someone here can help me.😓
