Ouch, OMG that hUrT 🥴. Only bootloader-unlockable devices can be rooted, that's so valid. Wish I was Indian so that you could feel even more validated.
Depressingly enough, after the "Flashing the archived file" on my A15 5G, the phone got stuck in a bootloop that is impossible to exit, reset or turn off, even after reapplying the original firmware.
@CynthiaJohnsson in Odin, make sure you are selecting all the original firmware files that you got from the internet then try flashing it again. When the phone is in bootloop wait for it to completely turn off when the battery dries out. Then hold volume up and volume down button while connecting USB (which is connected to your pc) to enter download mode so that you can do the flashing process.
@@sule_yt Thank you for the quick answer, but even after flashing all the files, Including AP, BL, CP and CSC, the phone is still in bootloop, even though the exact same files worked before in the "Flashing Stock Firmware" step.
@@sule_yt I tried flashing the A156BXXS3BXG6 version (The version my phone was on before) and the A156BXXU3BXG7 version (which is newer) but no other firmware version, since you said, we can only upgrade the version, and not downgrade. So I'll try with Austria firmware now, I've used EUX before. Well... same problem...
I try All methods correctly but when i wipe data then it start boot and it appear : SECURE CHECK FAIL :boot. Img 😢 . I tried this method on SM-T295 . It does not worked on this device 😢
hi, it should be there in your firmware file that you downloaded. Please recheck, if you still don't see it, you can continue the process without selecting a CP file and there shouldn't be any issues.
omg tysm, ive jailbroken my iphone 7 ipad and now ive rooted my galaxy s9+! i didnt follow 2 steps, one was the vbmeta thing because i didnt have it but i archived boot.img to boot.tar two was disabling auto reboot, but it factory resetted as it said on the video!
I don't have the recovery mode option in Magisk. What should I do? When I proceeded and worked with the generated boot.img file, it shows that it is not official and doesn't flash in Odin.
1. make sure OEM unlocking is on. 2. the boot.img file that you got from your downloaded firmware should match the exact firmware that is currently running on your device.
Thanks for the video. I just bought S9+ 5g UK/International version. Unlocked. $1350 Will this still apply as it stands? I think it's Android 14 now. I have experience rooting but a long time ago. S5. Droid X. Lol
@cleancasey thank you too for watching! Yes, it should work. If you need further assistance or stuck during the process, join discord so that we can communicate on an instant.
Took me some time to find you, I want to tell you that I'm done with Whitesand, he's been not allowing my comment to be seen by other people on Marside and Whitesand now, I found out with another account of mine when I looked, I sent what I had to say in his latest short, it hurts how he never gave me the time of day, but that's life, it's his loss, 😾
OMG! Thank you so much. I've been stuck in reboot loop for 1 day (for real) and I couldn't come into factory recovery. Then, I watched this video and knew how to do it.
@@SauceyJay1209 are you rooting Tab S6 as well? If the meer purpose is to root, follow my latest tutorial. If the device is stuck on download mode, flash all the files of your stock firmware to get back to normal.
I have sm-t860 that is tab s6 wifi i am twrb menu and stuck didn't know how to go back the normal to use my phone or try root it now my tablet it's stuck on twrb menu lol P.s my android 12 version
Open Odin and put the original firmware files such as AP, BL & CP. Then flash it. That will get your tab back to normal. To root it, watch and follow my latest tutorial on rooting samsung.
If the bootloader version of Android 14 is the same as the one for Android 12 then yes. And it's not mandatory to root your tab to Downgrade as long as it is the same bootloader version.
When i open magisk, click install, on options i have preserve avb 2.0/dm-verity and preserve force encryption whilst u have recovery mode What do i pick?
Is there any place I can get written, detailed instructions on how to root Android device (specifically Samsung). This is very interesting but it is going to take me a few "watches" of this video to accomplish this, and I am afraid I might skip a step
I don't think you can find a dedicated written format of the steps like the one in the video. It's even simpler in the video as I have divided the steps into chapters. Goodluck, if you have any issues let me know!
@@sule_yt Samsung a-03as. But I also have a tablet, which allows OEM unlock I have heard ppl have success by setting date back manually-- I tried. Didn't work Luckily I have all summer...
Try these things out to see if the OEM option is shown in the developer options: Downgrade android version (you can do this only if your bootloader version is same or higher than the lower android version firmware). This is a bit complicated, and bootloader option will be shown only if it was shown before in that older android version. Reverse dates to week earlier. Connect to the internet. Disable auto updates and restart. If you still can't see it, just root your tab.
hello friend i need help i stuck in android recovery, when i try to press reboot to bootloader with power it puts me into fastboot when i try pressing it again but with power x volume down it puts me on a screen says one ui with a yellow alert
Hey bro, i love your tutorials, it is just there is one thing im struggling on, when i restart my phone and press vol up and down at the same time, it enters download mode, however. it says do not disable usb cable during software update. And im not sure what that is, should i wait for it or do something else?
since you already have the original firmware that you downloaded, you can put them in Odin app again after putting the phone in download mode. And then flash it, it will return to stock firmware and from there, you can lock the bootloader if you wish. If you don't want to lock the bootloader and wish to root your device, you can try the patching AP file method. Where you patch the whole AP file that we used to take out the boot.img in our video, and then flash that one to see if it works on your device.
@@sule_yt no idea it just was in the savescreen , and it had stopped , is started thw process at 8 pm and by 11 pm it was frozen , i tried to do anything but was completely unresponsive, i forze reboot it , now i guess my tab is incomplete cause it tells me ''this phone isnt running samsung official software' and satys on logo screen
It's not incomplete permanently. I assume you still have the original firmware files. Just flash them to go back to original firmware and lock the bootloader
yo bro when i finish flaing the boot.tat with odin and resest my phone whith recovery to has non stop boot screen where its booting btw i did everything right my device is samsung galaxy a14 pls help
