omg tysm, ive jailbroken my iphone 7 ipad and now ive rooted my galaxy s9+! i didnt follow 2 steps, one was the vbmeta thing because i didnt have it but i archived boot.img to boot.tar two was disabling auto reboot, but it factory resetted as it said on the video!
Just did this with a Tab A9+ The root fails if you let Magisk do it's last reboot, and you'll have to factory reset again. Skipping that step hasn't caused any problems for me

Motorola phones can have their Bootloader unlocked through the Motorola website. So should we skip to the next step in this video when it comes to that?
since you already have the original firmware that you downloaded, you can put them in Odin app again after putting the phone in download mode. And then flash it, it will return to stock firmware and from there, you can lock the bootloader if you wish. If you don't want to lock the bootloader and wish to root your device, you can try the patching AP file method. Where you patch the whole AP file that we used to take out the boot.img in our video, and then flash that one to see if it works on your device.
yo bro when i finish flaing the boot.tat with odin and resest my phone whith recovery to has non stop boot screen where its booting btw i did everything right my device is samsung galaxy a14 pls help
Hey bro, i love your tutorials, it is just there is one thing im struggling on, when i restart my phone and press vol up and down at the same time, it enters download mode, however. it says do not disable usb cable during software update. And im not sure what that is, should i wait for it or do something else?
@@sule_yt no idea it just was in the savescreen , and it had stopped , is started thw process at 8 pm and by 11 pm it was frozen , i tried to do anything but was completely unresponsive, i forze reboot it , now i guess my tab is incomplete cause it tells me ''this phone isnt running samsung official software' and satys on logo screen
It's not incomplete permanently. I assume you still have the original firmware files. Just flash them to go back to original firmware and lock the bootloader
Thank you so much. It worked on my galaxy j7 prime succesfully. But after 2 weeks my devices went on FRP lock during a reboot, It will be very helpful to guide me through the recovery of the phone.
Glad I could help. About the FRP lock screen, did you try to flash any module before that could possibly have led to this? If you have used your rooted phone normally in 2 weeks without any issue, something must've happened then. To go back to original firmware, download your firmware and then flash it with Odin. But you may lose your data.
Is there any place I can get written, detailed instructions on how to root Android device (specifically Samsung). This is very interesting but it is going to take me a few "watches" of this video to accomplish this, and I am afraid I might skip a step

at the end, when i open magisk and it asks to reboot to finish, its now left me in a bootloop... any help? edit: it gave me the option to factory reset, i did so, launched magisk and it worked, Great turorial!
I thought I did everything as shown in the video, but my tablet(Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 fe+) got stuck in the infinite loading screen when trying to flash the boot.tar file (basically the last step). What can it be connected to?

It put mine into an endless boot loop. Sits on the loading page with the warning "This is not running software installed by Samsung..." and never boots to One UI... then repeats. Can't switch off either. Is it possible to get past this?
The Security Log agent has shown up and wants me to reboot. Just ignore, or? Cause of "unotherized Things in the background" 1. How to get rid of the messsage? 2. What apps do you prefer to have on a rooted phone?
1. yeah you can just ignore the warning message, it appears when the system is modified (rooted). 2. you can use any app you want, game guardian, file explorers with root permission to access system files and MANY more.

hi, it should be there in your firmware file that you downloaded. Please recheck, if you still don't see it, you can continue the process without selecting a CP file and there shouldn't be any issues.
Hello, I keep getting the same error when I try to Flash the archived file boot.img. It keeps says Security check fail:boot.img and I've kept trying 3 times now and getting the same message. My device is SM-T290 Samsung Tab A 8.0 2019.
Is the tablet going to homescreen? If it is then it's fine just check root access. If not then I don't know what might have caused that, flash the original firmware files to go back to original system.
i get error when try to unmount the super.img file in magisk - device platform: arm64-v8a -installing: 26.3 )26300) coping image to cache -unpacking boot image - unsupported/unknown image format - installation failed. I'm with Samsung z-fold 4
Just a note: After scrolling through these comments I see that if the "OEM Unlocking" isn't there, then I'm technically SOL. If there is a way to root these type please let me know. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for the video, very thorough. I managed to get as far as flashing the archived file. However, when I attempt to flash - I receive a fail. Error message says boot.img.img Fail! Any advice please?
Try the following solutions: 1. Remove the vbmeta file in the boot.tar file and flash again. 2. instead of patching the boot.img try to patch the whole AP file in the Magisk app, it will be automatically changed to .tar format. flash it as you are flashing the boot.tar file.

why my tab s8+ VERSION is X800XXU2BVK4 , but Samfw said it is tab s8. Can i still download the firmware? I repair the s8+ before and samsung change my motherboard. Is it the reason? thank you!
Hello! I tried this method but I got a security Error which says that i flashed unauthorized software and I got locked out of it, luckily I managed to unlock it however can you explain why it happened and what I did wrong?
For some devices have extra layer of protection that's why it happens. There are flashable files that are specifically used to bypass that in order to proceed rooting. Did you manage to root btw ?
