This is informative and all, with all these doxies looking lovely and adorable, but let’s say what we’re all thinking: What’s up with dude constantly asking how the weather is over there? 🤔🤔🤔
Currently have 8yr female mini, a short-haired brindle - first few years challenging, but sooo rewarding :) Previous doxie was rescued @ 10yrs old,; long-haired grey/black/fawn mini - she was amazing, still grieve her/dementia that took her.
Final doxie will be a mini wire hair, rounding out all the little characters/best friends/companions. That's assuming I'm not too old, and there's the perfect companion waiting in the shelter :)
I just got piebald dabble or brindle piebald im not sure loll but she is soo adorable, she has marking like no other I have seen! she is 13 weeks old and her name is Shelly! I have made several videos of her on the channel :)

I think you will be surprised, she is my 3rd Dauchaund (still have 2) one is Shelly and other is Nelly...Nelly is 13 and is a shorthair piebald just basic piepald.Shelly, the pup is a miniature longhair-? lol im not sure on her..... Thank you! Have a blessed day!
There is one other color. Sable. It is a Red with a black undercoat. Very distinctive and rare. It is absolutely beautiful. A friend of mine had one. Lucy. Sadly she passed after 17 years of a wonderful life. She was a sweetheart. Now I have a chocolate and tan. And he has 2 Black and tans.
When I started raising dachshunds in the late 50s, we only had two colors to choose from. Black and tan or brown. When you bread too many brown dachshunds in line with each other, you ended up with a faded-out brown that I didn't like. If you bread with a black and tan dog, you ended up with a dark red colored dog. This is still my favorite one. We showed under the AKC in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We also were members of the AKC dog clubs.
Love these lil troublemakers, worth every mess haha~ I have a black n tan lil female that we're gonna be breeding later to a handsome piebald stud. Grandma was a cream colored dog tho, so who knows how those puppies will come out! :P
Omg I can’t wait to see what they’ll throw. I bred my brindle female to a Black and Tan male 2 years ago and got a 2 reds, and 3 brindles. Keep us posted what babies you’ll get
@@marioavila1559 Oh wow, how cute! We have an old red grandpa dog too, though his paws are grey by now! XD And will do! It'll be a while yet til then but I'll have to remember to get a few videos of mama with her future babies~
@@marioavila1559 Alas, our poor piebald Dude tragically got out into the road late last year. We still miss him, but we recently got a lil chocolate-colored muffin-boy we named Brownie to be our stud instead. Hoping for him and Mimi to both stay safe so they can hopefully have those puppies we wanna see later...
Our plan is going exactly as planned. Humans.... so... predictable! Now go fetch me a treat or I go drop ploppies on the carpet then watch you pick it up.
