Why didn't he invest the 2b on himself or his own brother? The artist gets that because he has the talent to make money for the label and that being the case should be treated with respect and as a human being. He's not a slave, for goodness sakes!! In the USA we have heard cases of megastars who ended with nothing because their labels simply stole everything through all sorts of hellish terms and conditions.
This is why some people do not invest in artists anymore. And that's why they make them do soul torturing stuff to keep them on leash. But also to the management as your artist start dey blow, you have to give him or her more room. If possible you have to revise deals to make them benefit more. Because part of being a global star is the ability to access more.
