Usually I don't comment on entertainment news but this one really touched me. First of all I have followed Rema since Dumebi and I knew he would be a star so this news comes at a shock because Don Jazzy had always believed in Rema from the one set and treated him like a proud father. However, Rema is allowed to be free and not tied down to a 15 year contract.
Rema made more for him than how much he invested. 15 year contract?! That is slave labor. How can you tell someone to not have a girlfriend and business for 15 years? Don Jazzy is a demon for that contract.
The truth is record label suck so much from their artists no doubt but I would prefer the artist leaving without issues like this, definitely we will have two sides of the coin for those in support and those against. Example is Asake and Olamide they still in good terms and no such talks

Let's take examples from different businesses & sports: even if you were taken from the pit & you become the market, a business owner understands immediately that you hold the keys now, & you have the privilege for reviews at different stages. It's not every Artiste at Mavin that's made it big, so, there's no guarantee that Mavin can still get another Rema or Ayra Starr. Barcelona never got back Messi even if they'd tried to create another but it'd never be the same. A bird at hand firstly.
