Hi friend! Kenji "Numotthenummy" Egashira here and I want to say thanks for stopping by my channel! I'm a long-time streamer on Twitch (12+ years and counting!), and full-time Magic content creator. I've been playing for over 25 years, and focus on creating content that's laidback and educational.
So what can you expect to see here? • Daily videos featuring livestreams, limited formats, or tournaments. • Primarily MTGA content, but popping on MTGO for special events like Vintage Cube.
I hope you'll stay awhile and join our incredible community. Drop a "Hello Friend" in the comments and I'll see you on the battlefield!
don't tell anyone else but bestow is probably great in this format. I just have to make everything think otherwise with another Arena Open coming up soon...
I haven’t watched the video yet but I bet it’s the green hydra bestow card. That one seems nice for its rarity I got to that part. No, it wasn’t even that
Something something about complaining that you always force Izzet or Grixis control. Must have something to do with your skill level. Just kidding, love ya brother and happy to see (presumably) one last cube. 🎉
Hey Numy, don't know why I feel the need to tell you but I used to watch your draft videos until MTG got kind of dull for me. However, after watching one of your super kaizo videos I insta-click on every kaizo video now. So thanks for rekindling my poke addiction.

@numotthenummy btw bestow is stronger than you think! You can cast a card as an aura for its bestow cost, and it becomes a creature not just if the creature it enchants dies when it's on the battlefield, but also if the aura's target becomes illegal, it just turns into a creature spell again!
It’s funny that we can say “I’m not immune to either of those things either” and use both pronunciations of the word “either”. And it makes perfect sense hearing it. English is a funny language sometimes
That chrysalis is not only good but it might be the best common of the set. I've seen some eldrazi drafts and that thing grows to a 8/9 quickly. Great synergy piece and amazing in multiples too.
51:32 I don’t believe “double adapt” is a thing? The wording on adapt says it only puts +1/+1 counters on a creature if there are no +1/+1 counters on it already. Implying that even if you adapted a second time while the first was on the stack, the original trigger would just fizzle once it saw the counters that had already been applied? Haven’t played many adapt cards before, so definitely could be wrong here. That’s just how I’m reading it.
