They really need to make a change for the sealed, these play boosters have wrecked it. The luck factor is way turned up and the skill factor is turned down. It’s crap pisses me off. I hate these play boosters go back to one rare three uncommon and the rest Commons and that’s it. so much better, they just keep making these changes in the name of greed, but have been ruining the game every time they do these things. If they have to make these play boosters, just standardize it at least to make it an even playing field make it two rares and four uncommon and then whatever a small chance that one of the rares is mythic or bonus sheet or whatever. But the randomness of it just makes it more and less skill, which sucks.
For sealed, they do need to maybe make a separate type of pack. But for the draft, it’s an improvement. They could definitely limit the bonus sheet stuff, but having there power packs and more rares make things more interesting. And making sure the land slot is separate so your packs rare isn’t a land is a win no matter what
@@reidyo5404 disagree. More luck as a factor in your win record is less interesting and more frustrating. At a bare minimum, they need to make it even if they’re going to make more rares make it standard not you can have one two or three bullshit just make everyone get to and let’s say there’s a 25% chance one is a mythic or a bonus sheet or whatever
@@Scquwer that’s not how it plays out in draft. It makes it more likely you get a on color rare or get passed an on color rare. Go draft the old sets, it’s more dependent on luck that you will open a usable rare
Is there any formula for being on the play or draw? Like if you’re on the draw 10 games in a row will you be more likely to be on the play? Because it’s SO frustrating.
@@apeflight5553 then by your logic it wouldn’t hurt to have a system in place that ensures it’s 50/50 anyway, correct? This way you also wouldn’t have streaks of many games in a row being on the draw
@@lifeofasalesman01 You don't have such a pity system when flipping a coin and the entire point of the system is to mimic what would happen in real life .
@@lifeofasalesman01 this is basic maths, it's not "my logic". It's your logic too, it's the logic of the universe. It's just not really needed. There's no real problem in having streaks here and there. And you couldn't really solve that problem by adding bias anyways. Not in the way you want, anyways.
How would you implement a system that forces 50% chance? You would need to pair people that are on the same rank (or win/loss) then find one that had too many draws with another one that had too many plays, just having a pseudo coin flip is good enough given enough games played. The only way you will feel truly 50% is to alternate play and draws, then we go back in the pairing issue.. we don't really see complaints when we go in a play streak
