I was at this one. I went to most Cabbages back in the day, especially the earlier days. Had some fantastic times there. It was like one big happy family with zero hassles, everyone basically loving the vibe and one another. I did prefer the heady days of Glowballistic though, which came beforehand and folded, thus paving the way for Cabbage. The short-lived spin-off nights they did [Sid Fox and Vegas] were pretty good also. Happy daze, indeed 🙃

Cheers dude, I thought I'd spice up the start a bit :-) . . wish I'd managed to get a bit further to the front to catch the canon and the WW1 theme troops as well. My legs were feeling cold and deadened after the Killing Fields and I could have easily ended up sprawled in the mud but then they recovered toward the end and I found some reserves. Thankfully only one or two electric shocks, but they were enough fun . . I got the shakes/shivers as soon as I'd finished - really should have included some footage of my amazing stroboscopic hands!

Haha you know me well Jason. Must admit it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be and once you are out there and in it its a real buzz. Winter ToughGuy in January (often very icy) is the more familiar version of this event and now the obvious next step so I guess I'll have to enter that

Will have to admit being creative with the editing to make me look more like super-boy than super-donkey but having said that I had a pretty good second half after a steady first and so there's more in there. It would be good to get a faster start next time.

That dog did look a bit worried didn't it? It was probably wondering what we were all running away from and why people couldnt find a hiding place under that big pile of tyres. That poor girl . . it wasnt me honest, and I did try and help her out of the goo coming out.
Cheers mate, that support made all the difference on the day. That tunnel acted like an echo chamber for all the applause coming from one end and was an experience all on its own just wading towards it wasnt it.
thanks Both, I had a really good run, though made a few mistakes as well. I learned a lot on the day about my pace and what to train for next time, bottle-necking etc so came away feeling positive and knowing where I could give even more. Onwards and upwards . .
Cheers Scott, you put in a great time well done. I was lucky with the gravel/grit and stuff in my trainers and managed to get round in them. I noticed one or two people had lost theirs though. Tough course but great fun as well.
